My sensors indicate a possible science fiction film failure....a motorbike?

My thoughts exactly. I've been on board and enjoyed the recent Star Trek movies with open arms and an open mind--But this is going a little too far. Completely annhilating the Enterprise just to ground the entire crew for the whole movie? Not only did they spoil a huge part of the movie, but I feel like destroying the Enterprise has become too predictable and too easy, especially considering why they're doing it here.

And the alien with her Matrix moves needs to go. This looks less like a Trek movie and more like... well... A Fast and Furious movie. Lin has no business directing Trek and Paramount has totally lost their way with why the franchise was successful to begin with.
