Although the main Ultraman Orb series is winding down, the character will continue to be in the spotlight with the upcoming film, Ultraman Orb: The Movie - Lend Me the Power of Your Bonds and more immediately in the upcoming prequel series, Ultraman Orb: The Origin Saga. Tsuburaya released the first teaser for the Amazon Prime exclusive series, with an ominous voice over announcing, "Every story has a beginning. How was the warrior of light born?"

The first episode of the 12-part series will debut on Japan's Amazon Prime Video streaming service, December 26th, 2016. An international release is planned with English and German subtitles.
