A detailed description of the first Star Wars: The Last Jedi (Episode VIII) teaser trailer has leaked online following a shareholder's meeting held by Disney last week. The first teaser trailer is expected to debut at Star Wars Celebration next month, but for those wishing to know what the trailer will include before its official release, keep reading!
The trailer reportedly begins with Rey handing Anakin's Lightsaber to Luke as he takes it with both of his hands, not saying a word. This scene of course is the continuation from the final moment in The Force Awakens. From there we cut to Luke's home on the remote island and Luke asks Rey "Who are you?".
We then see Rey practicing with a Lightsaber, though we're not sure who's Lightsaber it is, exactly. Fans speculate it will again be Anakin's, since early promotional marketing images show Rey holding Anakin's Lightsaber again.
Next up, we are given a shot of General Leia Organa in uniform as she turns to view a hologram of the Resistance fleet. We are then shown Leia is in space, with several Resistance ships flying behind her.
The trailer then cuts to a shot of Chewbacca roaring at something, but we never see exactly what it is.
Finn is then seen dressed in First Order attire, on the bridge of what many are speculating to be a Star Destroyer. Early reports also suggested Finn would be going under cover as a member of The First Order in The Last Jedi.
A damaged X-Wing is then seen in what appears to be the bay of a massive First Order ship, trying to maintain flight. We then see a brief shot of Captain Phasma and then a cut-scene with Poe in his signature X-Wing, where he declares "It's now, or never!".
The trailer then cuts to numerous landscape shots including mountains, oceans and deserts before the title rolls.
