The official trailer for the upcoming original live-action Ahsoka series was unveiled during Star Wars Celebration this week, along with a new poster (below). The trailer teases a multitude of exciting details, cut-scenes, characters and locations from the series. The Ahsoka series will span 8 episodes and begins streaming on Disney+ this August!
The dialogue Ahsoka uses in the trailer; "Something’s coming. Something dark. I sense it." suggests a resurgence of an evil force - we assume the Sith - as the trailer debuts a number of red lightsaber wielding Force sensitives.
The series acts as a spin-off from The Mandalorian and will tie into established story arcs initiated by that series as well.
