The image below, which was found on [url=]this site[/url], shows us a much clearer view of the "busted helmet" we saw previously. Now, here we can really make out what is happening... and it is not pretty..

How did such damage?
Is it a defense mechanism?
or is it part of your cycle and purpose?
In fact perhaps poor food Milbur DNA and indeed the effect of that ecsena is very similar to the blood of facehuggers and Xenomorphs. Yes! definitely this creature is an ancestor of the Alien or this estrehamente related to the original species.

IMHO it's like a fast version of the evolution of prehistoric animasles but for the evolution of a biological weapon.

Perhaps the Hammer-Centipede is complemented by feeding the DNA of their victims. Then it right through so you can advance in their developmental stages to reach its peak.
