MemberCompsognathusApr-29-2013 12:02 AMI for one loved the dilophosaurus from the original film, it already had a very small appearance in jurassic park but then it never cam back in either of the two sequels. I am really hoping that this guy will make another appearance in the fourth film... Am I the only dilophosaurus lover out there?
Also did the frill bother anyone else... Ya know since they had a world famous paleontologist on board and he said nothing about that even though in the special features of the first film he was super pissed that in the original animatics of the kitchen scene the raptor had a snake like tongue! Just curious.

the dilos in the movie were juveniles new additions to the park when full grown there about the size of a rex give or take they'd also still spit thanks to a genetic mutation of henry wu, id imagine on site b they have them too but we havent we seen them????

Well, the point of making dilophosaurus a juvenile for JP was one, to show how deadly even a young dilo can be, and two, so that T-rex wouldn't have any attention taken away. But I see you're point. I'd love to see a full size adult dilo for JPIV!

There geneticly engineered dinosaurus, they had to fill in the genetic senquence gaps with lizard, bird, and amphibian DNA according to the books. Remember, these are not pure blooded DINOSAURS, the genetic MUTANTS that merely LOOK like DINOSAURS. So many people forget that detail, its so annoying.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexMay-05-2013 12:26 PMI agree with S-Rex, Dilo wasn't near as big as T-Rex. It was a Titan in it's day though. Dilo was around it the early Jurassic (it was so primitive it had three fingers and an opposable thumb). It would be cool to have a full grown Dilo in JP4.

MemberCompsognathusMay-16-2013 9:17 AMthe dilophosaurus was a large therapod but it was just over half the size of the trex but was large for the triassic period or early jurassic period. and i also like the dilophosaurus i thought it was the funniest dinosaur in the park.
