We now officially know who will play Carnage in the Tom Hardy led Venom movie! Last month we reported on a casting rumor which suggested that Carnage would be played by Woody Harrelson. Many attempted to dismiss the rumor but as of yesterday, according to a reputable source via Bleeding Cool, Woody Harrelson will in fact play the victim of Venom's deranged Symbiote offspring, Cletus Cassidy, also known as Carnage!
Rumors persist however concerning just how prominent of a role Carnage will have in the Venom movie. Some sources claim Carnage will be introduced at the end of the film - setting him up as the primary villain in a Venom sequel, while initial reports suggested Carnage would be the primary villain in this film. As we learn more we'll be sure to keep you posted!
