Warner Brothers sure are doing some interesting things when it comes to animated Batman movies. In addition to the R-rated Killing Joke and the charming looking big screen Lego version next year, they're also working on a new film based on the live-action 1966 Batman series.
Entertainment Weekly got the scoop on the new film, which will be called Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders and will feature the voice talents of the original series' cast: Adam West as the Caped Crusader himself, Burt Ward the boy Wonder, and Julie Newmar as Catwoman.
Villains appearing will include the Joker and the Penguin, can because the budgetary constraints that plagued the original series are no longer an issue, it will partially be set in space.
Stock up on your Shark Repellent Bat Spray when Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders hits DVD and Blu-Ray on November 1st.
