Qianzhousaurus vs Ceratosaurus

Qianzhousaurus:

 Qianzhousaurus is one of the newest dinosaurs on isla sorna code named “Pinocchio rex” Qianzhousaurus is a medium sized predator with taste for shantungosaurus. The long snouted and large eye-d predator is known for its extreme bursts of speed which can launch it running 38 miles per hour. It’s also extremely stealthy around humans it has never been documented killing humans, yet strange massacres in which unknowing mercenaries and smugglers have been picked off one by one from trees. It has no broadcast fights and only one documented opponent which was with a large utahraptor, from which the utahraptor emerged victorious.

Ceratosaurus is one of the oldest dinosaurs on isla sorna having been introduced at the same time Spinosaurus was, It has acquired a large fan base since introduction, partially because of its devilish look which is caused by 2 menacing horns and a crest on its head. It is a relatively large animal which is relatively heavier than the rather slender Qianzhousaurus. They’re quite shy from humans as they have rarely been sighted since the crashed plane incident in 2001. Its prey mainly includes dryosaurus, ornithomimus, and gallimimus. It’s most dangerous documented opponent was yangchuanosaurus, a battle which was easily won by its opponent in a mere 3 minutes and 56 seconds, which earned it the title fastest documented loss, but make no mistake it is not a carnivore to be taken lightly.

Fight!!!

  It’s fall and a young male qianzhousaurus is scanning the landscape for food, he hasn’t eaten for more than 5 days and is very hungry. His binocular vision allows him to spot small movement in midst of the forest trees. He cautiously follows the tree line and walks at a similar pace as whatever is causing the movement. Much like its cousin T. rex it can sense vibrations through its feet allowing him to locate where the creature is exactly. He silently enters between the trees and finally sees his prey, human mercenaries. He notices that there are around 10 of them with 2 lagging behind. It silently walks behind them and starts by snatching one of the lagers, no one notices a thing. 3 hours in and the group is exhausted and has settled down for a while. The Qianzhou having eaten his small meals is ready for a full out attack as it has singled out the 3 armed individuals as first targets. He dashes from the trees into the opening trampling 2 of them and ripping the other’s head off. They fall into a small ravine with weapons, leaving the others helpless. But just as he appeared the qianzhou disappeared. The group know better than to panic and with only 5 members left start heading to a giant bay on the edge of the island. A few miles later and they think that the qianzhou is gone, little do they know he’s right behind them. He readies for the final attack, but suddenly an adult ceratosaurus leaps out and snatches of them in its jaws as they start fleeing again. He knows well that this is Qianzhou territory and he leaps from the bushes and snaps inches away from the stunned cerato’s snout. Never has any animal of this size ever threaten it, so it quickly rams the qianzhou from the side and hisses. The qianzhou clearly unimpressed lets out a blood curdling roar that sends small dinosaurs running away in fear. The Cerato being an old male is not threatened a bit. They start circling around each other and mock charging hoping that the other backs out. His first territorial fight the young male Qianzhou knows very well that that if he wants to survive he is going to have to learn how to fight and the cerato is clearly not backing out.

  The inexperienced Qianzhou charges at the cerato and tries to ram him, yet the cerato easily dodges it, bites him from the neck, and throws him right into a small tree. The Qianzhou is clearly disorientated yet because of his superior and more developed brain notices that the cerato is completely unprotected from the left side as his left eye is scarred and clearly not functional. He starts running in zigzag like pattern towards his right side, the cerato starts positioning himself towards the qianzhou, but just when he is inches away the qianzhou turns around the cerato, jumps on its left flank, and starts slashing and biting. The Cerato now roaring extreme pain and agony violently shakes his body, yet the qianzhou is gripping on to its flanks with everything it’s got. The Cerato then falls on its side with extreme violence, yet the smart qianzhou jumps off the cerato’s back on the last second, causing the disorientated cerato to violently slam it’s body into the ground breaking it’s ribs, but the risk wasn’t with its cost the jump caused the qianzhou to break an arm and fracture his right femur. The Cerato now in ruins notices that the inexperienced qianzhou made a fatal mistake, he turned his back on him. The cerato even though extremely wounded sees it as the perfect chance he opens his mouth 100 degrees and slams on the qianzhou’s wounded femur, using his freakishly long teeth he opens the qianzhou’s leg and completely breaks his femur. The cerato then has to let go because his already wounded body can’t take all the pressure and movement.The qianzhou leans on a tree and lets out a gigantic bellow before limping towards the recovering cerato and clamps down with 500 psi of pressure on the Cerato’s rib cage, his wounds did not allow him to exert more, But the pressure is more than enough to make the Cerato bellow in pain. The cerato cinematically falls to the ground, barely breathing and roars with all his power ready for death. The Qianzhou realizing that he has won falls only meters away and rests. 2.5 hours later and the Qianzhou has barely recovered, he opens his eyes only to see the fatally wounded cerato is still trying to kill him. The cerato limps towards the readying Qianzhou, then it stops silently for 20 seconds before suddenly it gets dragged down a small ravine by a giant saurophaganax. The terrified and shocked Qianzhou looks in awe and horror at how the Cerato’s head is sent flying through the air and falls right in front of his feet with just a swipe of its claws.  The Qianzhou looks at the Cerato’s head and look up right into the Sauro’s eyes and flees as the sauro drags the carcass back to its territory, It  starts looking for its mate that inexplicably went hunting 3 days ago and never returned.

Winner: Qianzhousaurus

 Even though inexperienced and badly wounded the Qianzhousaurys managed to outsmart the old Ceratosaurus even though being an underdog, Though killed by an unlikely strike of luck the Ceratosaurus was as good as dead anyway since the Qianzhousaurus bit his rib cage which partially pierced his lungs which was a slow and agonizing death, so in a way the fact that he got killed by the relentless Saurophaganax is merciful.
