Hi everyone!

Watched this movie years ago and it got stuck in my head. Tried to google search it many times.

Some humans (all ages, sexes...) are in the prison facility guarded by robots (don't remember if the robots looked like people or were just humanoid).

This kid/young man starts working with the robots and gains their trust. He eventually finds out the robots get turned off at night, so the humans plan an escape.

There is a fight but they eventually make it outside and...... it's a paradise outside!!!! War has far far finished, no more humans on earth except those in that prison. The robots were programmed to keep them there and just never released them!

Anyways, it was a cool movie. Maybe 70s? 80s?

If you know it, let me know ;)

Thanks!

Sounds familiar but I can't recall. If it's the same movie I am think about, it seems the robots turned out to be actually protecting the people from the war torn world. Sort of a gilded cage. It may have even been a Twilight Zone or Outer Limits show.

Cant think of an 70, 80s film like that... though it sound familiar.

Modern film with a similar premise on Netflix though. Good Film!

I Am Mother is a fantastic film!

This is OT but since "Mom" was mentioned, this 13 minute short is worth a watch. The iMom.

I’m looking for movies like 2001: A Space Odyssey, Blade Runner / BR 2049, Ex-Machina, Arrival, Annihilation, Interstellar, ect? I’m wondering if I've missed anything that falls into this sort of "heady" scMobdroifi for lack of a better word. I just love film that immerses me in another world until my mind is inevitably blown.VidMate
