Annunaki on Earth

Agreed! I'd love to see more about their terraforming, why they do it, (is it just to make hosts for Xenos on a large scale?) and what their real motivations are!! Also if they are merely 'Dark Angels' I am very interested in finding out who they serve!! Ridley always said he didn't wanna meet God in the first movie. Maybe we will finally discover if there are indeed different types of Engineer or if the differences occurred over time and with some genetic tweaking. (Still looks like they have used Xeno DNA to enhance themselves to me)

I guess will have to find out in the next movie. I myself believe that they came here because they wanted to fulfill something. Like a prophecy maybe that occured when their religion first started. Maybe they have a concept of an Afterlife. They seeded planets and in turn they believe they are fulfilling their destiny.

I had decided to research annunaki abit (well just wiki really) . There was abit that said in the "epic of gilgamesh" the seven judges of hell were called the annunaki . Other definations indicate annunaki is more than just one person (deity). Maybe in the deleted scene of the engineers at the start were the annunaki.

Thats where wiki gets it incorrect but just a little bit, there were seven judges but there's no association with hell. The only word in Sumerian doesnt mean 'hell' at all. Its the word Abzu it means lower world not underworld. If read the texts carefully they are describing southern Africa as the lower world. For some reason someone keeps messing with the original translations. The number 7 plays out alot in ancient pre-Biblical times. Yes you are right they are not one person but many and no offense but its spelled Anunnaki, Anunna, or Anakim in the Bible. The Engineers are the Anunnaki beings according to Ridley Scott and the Greek deities were seen as gigantic compared to a human being but perfect looking. We even get the word Earth from the word Eridu and it means "home in the far away". Now to me it could also mean home away from home and according to legend Enki and the 'fishmen' landed there almost 120 Shars ago or 432,000 years ago.

I like the anunnaki angle. The sons of Anu came to the earth to create new life but from where did they come? Maybe their home planet, Anu or maybe Nibiru, is a giant biomechanoid that gives birth to the engineers. A veritable earth mother. The first of the Anunnaki to come to this planet was EA, Earth means the kingdom of EA. His tittle was Enki which means Lord of the Earth (Sauron). His brother's tittle is Enlil or lord of the sky (Zues or Jupiter or Thor) and his sister Ninmah did the genetic modifications that created the Nephilim or the Orcs if you prefer the LOTR mythology. After messing with life on the Earth the creator of all punished Anu by using the gravitational power of Tiamat to gravitationally slingshot Anu to journey for all time in the darkness of interstellar space.

As far as the Hell Debate goes, we have to remember that the term Hell as we know it now, comes from after Christs Time and the New Testament. References to such a place before are different as there was not a Good place and Bad place where people go when they died.... just one place. But then some other religions did have different places one good and one bad, but not connected to the Bible etc. Places like Sheol and Underworld, and Hades are all the same. In the old testament there was a place people went while in judgement called Gehenna. Jews beleave its where the wicked soul is punished and tormented so its learns its lesson but it is then purged and so its not a eternal punishment, the Quran also features the place but its where the wicked go. Thats the thing with the Bible and Qauran though they can be interpreted in anyway and contridict things written in other parts... Some interpetations of the Bible sugest simply there is NO HELL! When you die, your gone dead nothing, but if you worship god/christ then you are merely sleeping and at the time of the return of Christ then those beleavers and born again will go from this sleep to Heaven under rule by Christ, while the none beleavers and sinners merely never wake again. This view of afterlife etc is mainly what Jehovah's Witnesses interpret from the Bible. Anyway sorry for going off topic lol

Back to the Anunaki well many cultures of old, share many things alike. And to a degree the Sumerian Tale of the Anunaki does fit in a lot with what appears to be going on with the Engineers. Maybe something similar could be happening, and that a fraction of Engineers created mankind for some reason, maybe as slaves or some other Agenda. Maybe without the knowledge or permission of the Hierarchy. There is so much potential in Prometheus Story now than the direct link to Alien Franchise. So much possibility and potential

Theres a great book I can recommend called The Gods Of Eden. Even though I own it and only read about 50 pages because It became way too complex for me to understand without having prior knowledge to specific details of ancient civilization, you guys might find it helpful.
