While Optimus Prime and Megatron may be the heavyweights of the Transformers movies, there is no denying that the real star of the Transformers movie franchise is the Autobot Bumblebee. Introduced to movie audiences back in 2007 as Sam Witwicky's battered yellow 1969 Chevrolet Camaro, Bumblebees devout loyalty to his human charge, unflinching bravery among his fellow autobots and a small dose of cheekiness has concreted the characters position as a favorite among fans.
So it will come as no surprise that after announcing the release dates for their next three Transformers movies creators Hasbro have also confirmed that the sixth movie in the billion dollar movie franchise, due in theatres June 8th 2018 will focus heavily on Bumblebee. This should be good news for fans of 2007's first instalment in the franchise, which featured Bumblebee more prominently than any of its sequels
