Initially, reports of Michelle Williams joining the cast as Eddie Brock's love interest suggested that the forthcoming movie may be an adaptation of the Sin-Eater story arc from the comic's in which Brocks ex-wife Ann Weying featured. Yet, according to Omega Underground, the Venom movie will actually be an adaptation of the Lethal Protector story arc, in which Eddie Brock move to San Francisco after striking a deal with Spider-Man, only to be pursued by a group of mercenaries called The Jury.
Omega Underground also claim that according to a casting call claiming the movies working title to be Antidote, the movie will start filming next Monday, October 23rd, with San Francisco, Atlanta, and New York reported to be the movies chief filming locations, and that the producers are looking for actors to play a group of mercenaries.
