The much anticipated Gotham TV series, created by Bruno Heller of which will air on FOX later this year and should enter production this month in New York, will follow the early years of detective Jim Gordon's police career within Gotham City. Deadline recently reported that Malcolm in the Middle actor Drew Powell will join the ever growing cast, shown below...
The cast so far (from left to right) are...
- Ben McKenzie: Detective James Gordon - A young, idealistic rookie detective.
- Erin Richards: Barbara Kean - Emergency doctor & Gordon's love interest.
- Donal Logue: Detective Harvey Bullock - Gordon's unsavoury, dirty partner.
- Zabryna Guevara: captain Essen - Gordon & Bullock's hardhitting boss.
- Sean Pertwee: Alfred Pennyworth - Newly adoptive guardian of Bruce Wayne.
- Robin Lord Taylor: Oswald Cobblepot - A polite yet psychopathic criminal.
- Jada Pinkett Smith: Fish Mooney - Gotham City's premier gangster.
- Drew Powell: Butch Gilzean - Mooney's right hand man.
So far this show is showing more and more promise, though additions such as a young Harvey Dent and even a young Lucius Fox.
