Despite the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Marvel and 20th Century Fox's Deadpool is still pulling its weight in theaters worldwide, having so far earned $745.9 million in just six weeks since its release, which is awesome when considering the movie only cost $58 million to produce and all but confirms that the planned sequel, set to feature Deadpool's long suffering partner Cable, has been green lit nd is likely in development. Hopefully director/writer Tim Miller and star Ryan Reynolds can continue to show the rest of Hollywood how a comic book move should be made.
Having capitalized on the annual festivities before its release, it really comes as no surprise that Deadpool would use April Fools Day as the platform from which to announce the movies home release date, giving fans welcome news and a customary prank all in one via Reynolds official Twitter account...

No details have been officially released yet confirming the extra content that will be inluded with the Blu-Ray release, though fans can expect the usual deleted and alternate scenes and behind-the-scenes documentaries, and with Ryan Reynolds you can also expect a lengthy gag reel.
