I recently saw a a trailer for a quiet place part two that gave me an idea. In the trailer it’s said the people that are left aren’t worth saving. Now this could’ve just meant people are violent and selfish now but a clip in a trailer made me think other wise.

In this particular trailer there seems to be a littler girl who is infected with something. So maybe people are becoming like the monsters because of the invasion.

an alien substance/infection that mutates people, which yes, has been done before, but i find body horror like that kinda disturbing and to me therefore interesting (just not them turning into THE death angels, something else probably)

Never considered the Aliens as being mutated Humans... it's certainly an interesting idea but how would they explain the major anatomical restructuring? Perhaps like many Alien invasion stories they're looking to hybridize with Humans. Either way, good catch, definitely something to consider.

I meant that the aliens are turning humans to them,

Turning them? Yeah, it’s certainly possible but that will be one stretch to explain. I dig the idea that this sequel will address clues to what started the whole thing. If they are turning Humans into these creatures, what would be the purpose?

What’s funny about seeing these movies in theaters is the dead silence. The audience except one of my friends was very quiet.

It’s good. HORROR SEQUELS ARE NEVER GOOD AND THIS ONE WAS. Yeah it actually had, not decent, GOOD writing.
