I hate Revenge of the Sith (except the memes)

I hate Boba Fett

Darth Maul is overrated

The last 3 SW movies were just good but not great movies

The Last Jedi is better than the fans say but not as good as the critics say

Kylo Ren is a much better character than anyone INTRODUCED in the prequels, including Darth Maul

The OT's duels are better than those of the PT

I hate George Lucas

1. Don't understand how anyone can truly Hate Revenge of the Sith. Phantom Menace? Sure. Attack of the Clones? Fine, but Revenge of the Sith is universally recognized as the highlight of the prequels and a very good Star Wars. Saying you hate it just because it is, "overrated" makes about as much sense as hating Jurassic World because others do, despite your personal and original liking of it.

2. Don't have much to say, I don't care for Boba Fett--I don't like him but I don't hate him. I think he is a cool character and has some cool scenes, "He's no use to me dead".

3. What I'm trying to understand with this one is how to you Darth Maul is overrated, but not Kylo Ren or any other character in Star Wars. Maul literally appeared for about 6 minutes in one movie, and each of his scenes Made the Movie. In addition to all of this his role in the Clone Wars and Rebels was phenomenal, and he had incredible voice acting plus savage duels and a great plot. So saying he's overrated is asinine to me.

4. This is a personal preference so can't say much, but TFA and TLJ are both far weaker than RO to me, and all three of them are lower than all three prequels for me as-well.

5. The Last Jedi is about exactly as good as the fans say, a 49% on Rotten Tomatoes. It's a disgusting movie that tramples upon character arcs built up over 40 years to build up ones that people have known for 120 minutes probably. It is also jam packed with plotholes, like how a droid couldn't just pilot the ship into Snoke's Cruiser; how Snoke this Deity of the Dark Side was unable to sense a lightsaber slowly turning right next to him. Luke's entire backstory, Kylo's entire reason for being evil makes no sense. The entirety of Canto Bight and far more.

6. So you are saying Kylo Ren is better than Maul, Grievous, Mace Windu, Anakin, Ewan Mcgregor Obi-Wan, Count Dooku, literally Darth Sidious, and Yoda. Cool.

7. Debatable but whatever. Luke vs Vader 1 and 2 are great duels, but all of the prequel fights are superior to Vader vs Obi-Wan rematch. Also wondering how you are ranking things that took so much time, finesse, skill and precision to do--such as Anakin vs Obi-Wan, Anakin and Obi-Wan vs Count Dooku both fights, Mace vs Sidious, and Maul vs Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan as weaker duels than the three that comprise the OT. Once again, cool.

8. Great, let's not have any Star Wars. If you hate George Lucas, then you literally hate the entirety of Star Wars--as all of what is loved in the series were his ideas. Vader, Luke, Lightsabers, Blasters, Leia, Palpatine all of them--EVERYTHING. It's all George Lucas, so not respecting the author of this incredible series because you are salty about the prequels is interesting.

Good grief.

1. R2 was able to do things he couldn't do in the OT, Grievous was a badass in the CW microseries but he was pussified in RotS, Anakin's acting is still weak but an improvement, and Darth Vader screaming "no."

2. Everyone likes him because he "looks cool." Even though he has no motivation or backstory.

3. Like Boba, everyone shat themselves about Maul because he did some cool stunts and had a stick that could hold two flashlights. People say he's stronger than Sidious, which makes me want to vomit.

4. I don't love these movies as much as the OT to defend them to my last breath but I will say that I think TFA had good exposition and character development. RO is kinda weak until the third act, and TLJ has a lot of dumb flaws but I can enjoy the good in it.

5. I never really saw Snoke as being all-powerful like Sidious or Vader, so that didn't bother me. Ren turned to the Dark Side because his parents were helping form the New Republic, leaving him mostly alone except for Luke. Nobody told him he was  the grandson of Vader, so he felt betrayed when Leia's lineage was revealed. And Snoke certainly didn't help things either.

6. Not gonna argue with this one, but I meant characters INTRODUCED in the prequels (Jongo Phett, **** **** Binks, Grievous, Mace, etc). But I will edit and clarify.

7. Yoda flipping around with a lightsaber and fighting Christopher Lee never seemed cool to me. Vader vs Kenobi is about the emotion, not the stunts.

8. IHE is a god.

1. R2 never had a need to use anything that was shown in RotS in the OT, they were never in those types of situations really to warrant that and be successful. Anakin in RotS is FAR better than Kylo Ren in either film, and the Vader no scream is really looked over too much. I would've done something different, but still, if you've just found out you basically killed your pregnant wife because you were listening to a Sith Lord, who happened to have been leading your entire Republic and acting as a father figure to you, on the ground that you could save your pregnant wife from your nightmares in which your pregnant wife is dying before you all the while the Order you've devoted your life to is not granting you the rank of Master after years of servitude and honors, along with defeating a Sith Lord in one-on-one combat--what would you yell?

2. Boba watched his father Jango literally be decapitated before him, if that isn't motivation don't know what it is.

3. Maul is literally nothing like Boba Fett. His backstory is dark and tragic, he was forced into servitude of Sidious since he was an infant--had been training his whole life in hopes of living up to his master's expectations, only to be cut down in a moment of confusion by a Jedi Padawan. From there he grew and festered on a garbage planet, using the Force for years to supply him with spider-legs as he slowly slipped into madness--and despite all of this, he came back and went on to rule Mandalore briefly, and die at the hands of Kenobi. Now compare that to Snoke.

4. TFA has no character development for anybody but Finn. Rey is the same character from the beginning to the end, she literally hasn't changed in anyway whatsoever besides now owning a Space Ship and having knowledge of the Force--which grants her control over all aspects of it apparently.

5. Kylo Ren had NO REASON TO TURN TO THE DARK SIDE. Ah yes, his Mother and Father, war veterans who helped free the galaxy from a horrific oppression, were busy trying to maintain that peace--so they sent him off to train with the Last Jedi in the Galaxy and become a Jedi Knight. Horrible life right? Snoke should've had no effect on him whatsoever, imagine if Anakin had Ben Solo's life.

6. Grievous and Mace are still better than Kylo.

7. Yoda vs Count Dooku was a great fight, and it demonstrated Ataru which was awesome. Of course Vader vs Obi-Wan is about emotion, but the stunt-work was I'm pretty certain entirely done by Ewan and Hayden, which I find to be awesome. Yoda vs Sidious is also underrated, it is a legendary duel.

8. Is I Hate Everything the true reason why you hate the prequels and Lucas?

Good grief.

1. R2 could've flown across the sky over to the bunker on Endor.

2. That is Boba's motivation for KILLING JEDI. By the time of the OT, there are basically no Jedi.

3. Everyone went nuts about Maul BEFORE he got a cool story in TCW.

4. Rey goes from wanting to stay on Jakku to trying to train under the tutilage of Luke Skywalker.

5. Again, they never told him that he was the grandson of Vader.

6. Grievous was a coward in RotS and all the cool stuff he did in the CW microseries is no longer canon. Mace is cool but he doesn't have any internatl conflict like Ren.

7. Anakin vs Obi-Wan had that horrid scene where they twirl their sabres for no reason.

8. No, but Lucas created three movies I view as abominations and butchered three timeless masterpieces.

(Literally just realized I hit 3000 posts during this)

1. I don't think his jetpack is that powerful, he could fly but couldn't for that long.

2. Uh, by the OT there are basically no more Jedi--Vader still has motivation. Don't get your point.

3. Maul still stole literally every scene he was a part of in Phantom Menace, so he gave good reason.

4. Not that big of a leap whatsoever. She wasn't adamant about staying at all, when given the ability to leave she chose it basically instantly, and has been the exact same character since.

5. Doesn't change anything, by the point he found out he would've been so invested with the Jedi by Luke he would be doing everything in his power to NOT mirror Anakin.

6. Grievous wasn't a coward, he was caught off guard by Obi-Wan who was a master of Soresu and knew the Force. Does every character have to have internal conflict about some BS? Mace is a grade A example of a true Jedi trying to keep in-line with his beliefs.

7. It wasn't horrid, it was to show how masterfully skilled they were.

8. Cool, if you view the prequels as abominations great. And he didn't butcher the OT, a few CGI sequences and Anakin at the end of RotJ are insignificant, and the Anakin part only made sense.

Good grief.

1. IMO Episode III has the best opening sequence of any of the Star Wars movies. Don't have a problem with R2's Jetpack; it is the same as the Daleks hover mode or Sam Raimi's Spider-Man silk - retcons that add to not detract from the character. It doesn't make R2 OP but just adds to his plethora of tricks under chrome dome.

2. Boba Fett. Let's be blunt here. Boba Fett looks friggin awesome, as is the case with most of Ralph McQuarrie's Star Wars designs, but in the OT Boba Fett is pathetically underused. ATM everyone is calling Captain Phasma the new Boba Fett, yet she has seen more action and has proven far more useful that Fett ever did.

3. After all the stupidity and fumbling that was Episode I, its one highlight, accentuated beautifully with John Williams' awesome Duel of the Fates, is the moment Darth Maul reveals his double lightsaber. Ray Parks (AKA The Toad in 2000's The X-Men) performance is awesome. While Neeson's handling of a saber is merely passable McGregor and Parks' exchanges are breathtaking, both visually and technically.

4. The Force Awakens is a tad "familiar", with some elements of poor execution but is filled with memorable moments and was the first Star Wars film that had us all speculating hundreds of theories. In the marketing, Rogue One looked underwhelming, mundane even, but on release, we got the Star Wars movie that is the closest in style and execution to OT released thus far, and probably the best Vader has seen ever.

5. The Last Jedi is a dilemma. Whereas the critics have given the movie too much praise, the fans have given it too much hate. The whole Canto Bight sequence was unnecessary and dull, Super Leia was too much, and Snoke's death made no sense unless it's a ruse. IMO force projection is just an evolution of what we have already seen. My biggest peeves with the last Jedi is that Luke Skywalker was never the perfect hero the fans seem to believe he was and was nowhere near as powerful as Vader was in his use of the force. IMO Kenobi and Yoda used Luke to make Anakin fulfill his destiny by putting Luke in harm's way and bringing out Anakin's protective nature. IMO opinion although Luke is in the foreground, the OT isn't about Luke, but about Anakin's redemption.

6. Kylo Ren. I don't see how Ben Solo went Dark Side. Some say too much Vader - too much chosen-one whose actions should have brought balance to the force and ended the Empires oppression. Though somewhat visually reminiscent of Revan, I still don't buy Ren as a villain - we need more backstory.

7. The duel in IV is shockingly bad, but those in V and VI were much better. Some have called the duels in the Prequels OTT, but in context, they are not. Many different styles were showcased, each suiting the user such as Yoda's, which was breathtaking and unexpected. As for the duel on Mustafar, it is the best of the series - it showed that Kenobi and Anakin were equals when it came to combat, which considering that Anakin had had less practice than Kenobi, who has previously defeated Sith Lord Maul shows how powerful Anakin really was. The only way Kenobi could and did win was to gain a strategic advantage, such as "the high ground".

8. IMO, Although the progenitor of the whole saga, I feel IV is one of the weaker movies, with wooden performances and very static photography. With the prequels, I find the dialogue is often unnatural and the trilogy as a whole relied too heavily on CGI. Conversely, the direction and execution of episodes V-VIII is far, far better. This is because IMO Lucas is a great visionary, storyteller, and creator, but his, unfortunately, he is a terrible director and cannot write dialogue for **** nor toffee, something Harrison Ford pointed out 40 years.

1. He had no problem flying in the factory from AotC.

2. Never mind

3. Cool action scenes doesn't make him a good character. TCW made him interesting.

4. She talked about wanting to go back to Jakku.

5. Ben was also being seduced by Snoke. But I will admit that his story could've been stronger.

6. He tried to flee after Obi-Wan pushed him into the wall.

7. They just spin their sabres around. Without hitting anything.

Also I don't see how Yoda v Sidious is underrated. Some lists place it above Luke v Vader RotJ.

8. The CGI in the Special Editions makes the OT look as ugly as the prequels.

1. The jetpack contradicts what R2 does in the OT since we never saw him use it then.

2. I don't care for either of them that much (Fett and Phasma).

3. I will say that fight was badass, but it doesn't contribute to Maul's character development.

4. If you look past TFA's lack of originality, it still has good exposition and character development, although it still has flaws. RO had a great story but the first half drags and the characters are kinda bland.

5. TLJ has a lot of flaws, but some people can't overlook them. I don't know why critics act like it's the next Empire Strikes Back.

6. The Chosen One thing is the one difference between Kylo and Vader.

7. IV's duel was the first in the series, so I didn't expect crazy ninja flips. It's about the emotion, the rivalry between Vader and Kenobi.

The prequels gave us two of the worst duels, those being Obi-Wan vs Grievous and Yoda vs Dooku.

8. I will agree, but ANH isn't as weak as you say IMO.

1. He wasn't flying for that long

And I reckon he couldn't do so anymore with age as a droid.

3. I don't think you grasp that Maul was meant to act how he did in PM

Of course he was better in TCW, but his character was unique for SW in PM.

And did much more for the series than Kylo Ren has in 2 movies.

4. For like a few moments before she realized what the **** she was saying.

Rey since she found out she could leave has been the same character across the ST.

      No difference, whatsoever, literally.

5. No one even knows WTF Snoke was and how he was 'seducing' him.

How was this guy who had a great life and was training with a JEDI being seduced?!

Does anyone realize what it took for Anakin to turn to the Dark Side?

And even then he refused to kill his own. This pr**k killed his own dad!

And he attempted to do so with his mom as-well!

Kylo Ren is a psychopath far greater than Vader and for no reason.

His rage knows no bounds and nothing happened to him to warrant it.

And sadly he's going to be the last of the Skywalkers it seems.

6. Trying to flee when you know you are outmatched in combat is normal lol.

Grievous was never portrayed as the type to "accept death", even in legends.

He was a warrior but he was also a villain, and wanted to live to fight another day.

In TCW he ran away at every opportunity he could get, so there is nothing to this point.

7. Have you ever tried sword fighting? Especially with kendo blades?

You can't go in on an opponent, or you will be cut-down easily.

They aren't "spinning their swords", they are trying to hit each other at super speeds.

No true lightsaber duelist can be hit that easily, so they have to use the forms.

They literally all can sense when the saber is coming for them, and can block it.

So it isn't just saber spinning, it is a dance-like art-form.

They all are moving at incredible speeds, that's why the forms are used to fight.

8. This is a matter of preference so whatever.

Good grief.
