DISCLAIMER: This Section is extremely emotionally moving.

(The following Section, "Omen's Reflections", was unlocked as a result of the actions of Isaac, Jax, SFK25, Tyrannos and Zan while dealing with Omen.)

(The following music selection was chosen for this Section. If you choose to listen to it, it may enhance your overall enjoyment.)

She had not been here in eons - not since...her sisters had come to her. Not since...her death...

It was their words which had driven her to seek out this place - the conflict they had instilled within her corrupted cognitive centers. She could hear Zan's voice "We'll find a way...". Then Jax's words "Not everything is set, Omen...". Both were followed by SFK25's statement "We won't give up on you...". Behind them, she could hear Tyrannos's words "You don't have to follow a set path...". Yet, holding them all together were Isaac's words to her "The right path for you may be harder for you than the opposite - but it does exist and always will..."

"...and always will..." she softly whispered to herself as she walked slowly forward through the silent ruins of Protus - her long-lost homeworld. Everything was still. Not even ghosts remained. Yet she knew she would soon see many in her own way upon the husk of a world. She had not even bothered to increase her size - such was her mind's draw to the memories of her forgotten life.

Through the streets she strode, a beautiful and terrible reflection of her past self. The bio-digital lashes upon her back, along with the dim flames rippling upon her perfect skin, wavered and flared slightly like coals in a forge - her eyes aglow in the shadows. Dread and pain were building within what remained of her heart - for she was drawing steadily closer to the one place upon which she thought she would never again place her eyes: the grand Necropolis of Vectra Proxima. The great cemetary of her homeworld's grandest city - or what remained of it...

Even as she approached the ruined gates of the ancient necropolis, she felt as though cold wind had begun to blow through her - chilling her soul to its core. She remembered the moment in which she had...drawn herself from the stone - screaming in agony as she had been ripped from her final rest. She had felt rage, despair, panic, hopelessness and utter hatred combined into a single burning hole through her as she had ripped the dead bio-digital tissue from her body to reveal the thing that had been gestating within her upon the moment of her death. Murmur's greatest work. His living vessel and wepaon within the Multiverse. "Yet..." she whispered to herself as she nimbly arched a leg up to step over the remains of a ruined ceramite gate "...I am still Omen. There is still...some of me left...I hope..."

The tombs and memorial stones of more than 239,000 generations of Sentients stretched out before her in every direction - crumbling and left to ruin and wastage for coutless thousands of years. However, despite the rubble and wreckage which left the vast expanse barely-recognizable, Omen knew where she was going. She knew the direction to her own grave. Yet, as she approached it - alone and cast in shadows away form the other memorials - she could not help but feel it was not a thing she recognized. Even so, she could not help but notice that it was much like her: cold and alone.

Stepping forward to the ruined gravesite - her hellish-yellow eyes glowing softly - Omen slowly took in the shattered remains of her own tomb. A small and simple mausoleum topped by an elegant statue depicting her in flawless detail as she was in life. Looking upon the ancient image of her past self, Omen sighed softly and closed her eyes as a faint wind whispered through the ancient cemetary, the air rustling gently through her silk-white hair. Is this truly my life?, she thought to herself. Yet, her mind was suddenly drawn away from its dark musings by a faint sound - a faint tap of metal upon stone cast-up by the wind. Opening her glowing eyes as her brow furrowed, Omen slowly looked down - seeking the source of the sound. There, upon her ruined grave, Omen beheld two very thin sheets of transluminum resting amidst the rubble - as ancient as the headstone and statue of her memorial.

Blinking, Omen slowly knelt her body down and reached forward with her glowing, bio-digital claws to gently lift the sheets of metallic "paper". They had been written upon - inscribed via laser stylus to remain forever upon her tomb.

The first sheet bore the words "Here and now I leave a piece of my heart, dear sister - to reside forever with you. I shall always love you". - Oracle.

The second sheet was incribed with "Everything good within me - my morales and will to see the good in others - was made stronger by you. You were my greatest mentor and friend - and you always shall be. I will never truly say goodbye to you. Hive five, big sister." - Sage.

As she read the simple letters, Omen felt her body beginning to tremble softly. They had still written to her. Even after the horrors they thought she had unleashed - even after they had helped to end her life - they had still loved her. Tears welled in her glowing eyes as she held the letters to her chest and placed a hand over her mouth. Blinking as she allowed the tears to at last begin their slow descent down her cheeks, Omen begin to weep softly - looking back to the letters and smiling weakly as she kissed them ever-so-softly. They had stayed with her. Laughing ever-so-softly through her tears, Omen softly said "High five..."

Continuing to weep as she looked slowly about the ancient and ruined cemetary - feeling suddenly cold and very alone - Omen lifted her head skyward and closed her eyes as the first traces of true emotion her heart had felt in millennia streamed through her like the tears upon her cheeks. They had never hated her for what they thought she had done.

Openning her eyes slowly as her tears abated, Omen gently held the letters her sisters had gifted to her grave within the palm of her hand and winked at them - causing them to instantly vanish away to be stored forever within her memory core. Turning slowly about to look upon her memorial once more, Omen let her eyes linger upon the statue of the woman she had once been - and would never again be. She did not even remember who that woman was. Tilting her head slightly to the side as she looked the statue over, Omen narrowed her eyes, attempting with all her might to remember what she had been like in the life which had been taken from her. Yet, it did not retrun to her. In an instant, Omen suddenly lashed out at the statue with her claws in a savage X - slicing molten rents through it like white-hot steel through ice.

As the statue which represented all that remained of her past self slowly fell to molten and smoking pieces upon the ground, Omen lifted her head to look skyward upon the stars above her and softly whispered "Oracle, Sage. Your sister has no need for a tomb, for she is...not gone. Not anymore..."

To be continued...

This is easily my favorite part of this story.

Godzilla... Truly a God incarnate.

Perhaps, at-last, she has found herself again.

Good grief.

This was a very enjoyable and saddening topic to read. Omen has reached the point in being a favorite character of mine. Perhaps she will see her chance to living once more.

GORILLAGODZILLA - Thanks to Isaac, Omen is, at last, on the path to finding what is left of herself, yes. This would not have been possible were it not for your actions! :)

G:KOTM - My sister and I are extremely pleased you enjoyed this presentation! Trust me when I say this: It was extremely sad to write this section! My sister and I started crying at about the time we were writing the portion where Omen found the letters from Oracle and Sage. I happen to believe Omen is oneof my top favorite characters as well! My sister and I look forward to seeing how Jax and the others will work to help her! :)

SCI-FI KING25 - Due to the actions of your character and the others, it might yet turn out happier than you expect. However, you shall have to wait and see. ;)
