Alien: Awakening: So far on IMDB

Words like "suggested" and "may allow" tell me it is not solidified.

For me this just confirms what's said in recent material (https://www.alienuniverse.com/davids-lab) and Novels (A:OotS/SoS/Bughunt/RW/A:C). Maybe also A:RoP, depends on how you connect the dots.

@chli - This sounds really good!!  My only wish is to somehow get 3 more movies instead of just one?  HAHA!!

IMHO - I am looking forward to David having a serious reality-check once the 'Real' creators i.e. 'The Engineers' show up!  Sir Ridley's suggestion that we will see a 'War of the Worlds' scenario is very appealing to me.  What is best for the Big Chap?  CHAOS!!!!

This is definitely not official official. I mean, we know Scott is back and that Logan has at least worked on (or is working on) drafts of a screenplay/story. It is also pretty much assumed Fassbender is returning and we know from Scott's comment that the Engineers may well return.

Hopefully they deliver on a wonderful, thought-provoking, horror-filled Alien, Engineer, David final adventure. 

I would rather see a movie about the Engineers and how they are connected to the Xeno and that it will be more about humans that AI. If they will write less about humans I hope that they will make the Engineers more interesting because I don't want a movie about AI, AC made that idea boring. Maybe it will be excusable if they kill David half into the movie or early in it.

That were the computers not Shaw, but that was already ret-con in AC, as David says somewhere (in Advent?) that he had the most success with Shaw's DNA when experimenting with the Goo, which does not makes much if you consider the engineers as genetically human.

I agree on the Engineers content Thoughts_Dreams and I expect a dramatic end for our vain synthetic David.

Indeed IMDB seems to have changed the Title and now lacks any information on the Project.

What ever plans were in place as far as when Alien Covenant was released could well be changed by the time any project goes.. so the updated Synopsis of sorts "Film will cap his prequel series, leading directly into the events of Alien."

Gives nothing much away.. and we cant verify anything with IMDB, so we cant be sure if the 2 more Sequels is now just ONE movie....  But i think for Disney they would surely be looking at getting a ONE movie to connect to Alien.

And so we could see the Planned events for Ridley Scotts Alien Covenant Sequel, simply be By-Passed like the Planned Prometheus Sequel...

So while Alien Covenant just showed us arrive to David 10 years after Prometheus and not really cover in detail what happened... i feel the NEXT Alien Prequel could again By-Pass a majority of what the Alien Covenant Sequel would have done.

Especially how fans appeared to be upset at any prospect of a DAVID Part 2 with less Xenomorph.

I could actually attempt to make a Prequel Broad Plot, Back Bones Draft....

My planned sequel  Alien: Ascension would have taken place 2 years after David Arrives on Origae-6   but a actual literal direct Prequel to Alien and so sequel to Alien: Ascension would certainly deal with the after-math of the idea i had for a AC sequel.

So in effect by-passing a AC Pt2 and giving us a AC Pt3, much like how Alien Covenant was in effect Prometheus Pt 3.

I had planned to tackle the 3rd movie idea to connect a bit to RS and his War of the Worlds and so the USCSS Odysseus was a name i was pondering for a Mission to Origae-6 with a sinister agenda.

I would have introduced the Space Jockey touching upon the Giant/Cyclops Polyphemus and the act of his revenge.. i was thinking plays into the Space Jockey Fate.
