Soviet movie

When I was a kid I saw a science fiction movie on television that I'm pretty sure was Soviet. It was about a fairly stupid man who had fallen asleep or got put in suspended animation or frozen or something like that and woke up far far into the future. In this future there was no need for money and people could have everything they wanted. I remember he lived in a house underground and at one point he got a giraffe just because he could. That's about all I remember but I have no idea what the movie was called. It had to have been released prior to probably 1975.
