Ideas on what they are going to do with a Live Action Pokemon?

Now I know not every one is going to like this Idea but what if you could make a Live Action adaptation of Pokemon what would you do with it?

I would tried to keep it at least PG or PG-13 level to attract older audience.

I know some fans would want the Pokemons to exactly like their game/anime counterpart but as a fan myself I think it should go a realistic route but still keep some of the original designs of the pokemon so it wouldn't be too unrecognizable like how Legendary made Godzilla 2014.

I think the lead characters should have an age uplift to about late teens or early 20's.

I'm still figuring out who should be the protagonist whether it should be Red, Ash, or someone new.

I don't want them to try to make it realistic because then we'd have another Dragonball Evolution on our hands.

Go through the pokemon world as the show and game gave it to us, maybe only changing the starting age at 10 since the guality of good actors at that level is little to none

@Durp004 So you want a cartoony looking Pikachu that doesn't mesh with the live-action background walking alongside alive-action 17 year old Ash and Misty?

What I meant by realism as in more detailed pokemon design, not story/universe. 

They can keep the rest of the lore intact such as Charmander having a fiery tail and all just have better pokemon designs to mesh better in a live action setting. That what I meant by realistic, also do you really want a bad CGI pikachu (with no refined hair, different shades of yellow to its fur, no further refined traits to make it look good on the big screen?) that looks like they ripped him out of pokemon stadium or Pokemon snap? Or do you want them to go late 80's and or 90's with Pikachu being a Cartoon character living alongside live action characters, Roger Rabbit style?

Well Ash is more widely known to the general audience but they could make him more badass like Red while still retaining the name Ash. I think that's how it is going go down.

Xenotaris your idea seems interesting. A darker Ash seems good but he still has the benlovent side to him.

@ShiroGoji: Indeed, they could always make Team Rocket more dangerous than ever. First they have to strip away the comic relief quirks of Jessie, James, and Meowth.

Yeah because in the anime Team Rocket is very cheesy! Some of their Pokemon picks are awful. But they could keep Seviper and Meowth.

Hopefully the live action movie makes Team Rocket more like the mafia or criminal syndicated like in the games
