Alien 5

The USCSS Sulaco is drifting silently in space. Inside the military vessel the hypersleep capsules open. Ripley and Hicks awaken and rise, they look about seventy years old. Bishop drags his stubby torso from the capsule and plops onto the floor, he looks exactly the same.

Ripley: "My God what happened? Hicks you look just like I feel" Hicks: "I feel like a Zimmer frame would come in handy about now". Just then a middle aged woman appears, "Newt?" Ripley enquires. A hideous sound breaks the silence, a tormented shrieking. They all run into the next room. A horse is dead upon the deck, a large, ugly wound in it's abdomen, shattered bones, blood and entrails. A bloody trail leads to an air duct. Ripley: " Again with the Xenomorphs". Newt: "What are we going to do?"  Hicks: "Maybe if we flog it long enough it'll come back to life"

For the next hour and a half they solidly flog the dead horse. But it is futile.

Who Cares? What Alien 5 needs is 1. New characters 2. A director whose movies don't Suck.

Get JJ Abrams to take over the Alien franchise, and maybe it can be resurrected with a bit of class. If anyone can make the Xeno's scary again and reinvigorate the franchise JJ is ya man.

Personally I want A L I E N I I ....And as far as I'm concerned Aliens/3/4 are Cryo fever dreams.

I would start fresh, no Ripley(she's still floating in cryo-sleep..maybe forever..having nightmare after nightmare). Keep the Alien universe. Start with Weyland-Yutani scratching their collected heads and trying to figure out what happened to the Nostromo. Sending a search/rescue vehicle with plenty of fresh meat. or send someone in the area to check out LV-426.....Maybe the Dereclict was trying to escape the other moons in the system and crashed on harmless deserted Lv426....the other moons hold temples and really nasty creatures?

I'd love to see JJ put a cool retro 70's vibe to ALIEN 2.

Pleeeeease NO … no J.J. Abrams for Alien! He's good at action, fantasy and sci-fi movies. Alien needs to go back to its horror roots.
