Let's talk about Indominus rex ( and its real life counterpart )

I will never see the Indominus rex the same again...

THAT"S WHAT I THOUGHT!!! Indominus Rex is basically a super smart Saurophaganax with some extra features such as temprature control and camouflage with osteoderms and a fourth claw that's pretty much it ( it's pretty cool non-the-less ) 

Its design maybe similar, but it still is made up of many carnivores and none are of Allosaurus decent.

DYNAMOSAURUS IMPERIOSUS - What a very neat theory - and I can certainly see how you have drawn to your conclusions! Indeed; the Indominus rex certainly does bear a strong similarity to the Saurophaganax. Perhaps the design teams decided to use that particular animal's appearance as a base for their creation? it is a very compelling thought! Of course, I am hesitant to say that a Saurophaganax would possess the same personality and mannerisms as the I-rex; after all, Jurassic World's pale-skinned atagonist was created from a large plethora of creatures - many of which were not dinosaus. The absolute cruelty and viciousness along with the physical capabilities evidenced by the I-rex were likely resultant of its genetic instability and the fact that is was raised in isolation. With that being said, there is no way to state that Saurophaganax did not behave in a fashion similar to the I-rex - all the more reason to hope that science gives neither of these animals the chance to walk the face of world!

SOMETHING REAL - I wasn't talking about mental state and visciousness I was talking about physical POSSIBLITIES both Animals possess. 

I see the similarities between the two. 

DYNAMOSARUS IMPERIOSUS - Yes; which is why I stated in my original response that there is no way to state that Saurophaganax did not share similarities to the I-rex. However, now that I have had time to ponder the physical aspects of the animals you desire to compare, I have doubt that even Saurophaganax could open its mouth to the degree evidenced by the I-rex. I draw this conclusion due to the fact that the I-rex was shown to have snake DNA within its physiology. Looking further still, the I-rex sometimes adopted a semi-quadrupedal stance - a trait that is likely not displayed by the Saurophaganax. With regard to the method of kiling: that is a mannerism, not a physical characteristic. Certainly, such actions take into account physcial aptitude; however, the manner in which an animal takes prey is based in psychology. Watching the I-rex slay the ankylosaurus was not an educational piece - it was a scene in a film meant to evoke a sense of savagery, to wit the I-rex's mental instability (once again, the mental state of the predator). The I-rex was on the rampage and wanted to kill, doing so in the swiftest means it could. I have considerable doubt that the design leads chose to model a set of brief instances after the involved biomechanics present in the killing methods of an actual dinosaur.

I remember back in 2013 or early 2014 that some early concept art was leaked of Owen running from a large carnivorous dinosaur, and then the headshot of that animal was released.  It turned out to be the Indominus rex, in the movie, but the concept art was too detailed to be her.  It looked exactly like Allosaurus or Saurophaganax.  So it`s probable that a true allosaurid (not carcharadontasaurid) was inspiration for Indominus rex in it`s concept art infancy, but the final product had too much of a carcharadontasaurid and abelisaurid mix for the skull.
