So, most of us have seen the movie and seen the tragic deaths of characters, be it dino or human, however many people seem to be confused with what happened. So here we can put things to rest.

1# What happened to the second ankylosaur?

We all know the gruesome death of the anky, but many wondered what happened to the second one. After watching JW twice I believe the gyrosphere smashed into its small skull breaking its neck or knocking it unconscious.

2# What about Zara?

Zara got absolutely creamed by the pteradons baptizing her in lake placid on acids lagoon. After being pecked, clawed and drowned she finds herself half way down mosasaurs throat.

3# Raptor Death Order?

The saddest part of the movie was the death of three of the raptors. However people get confused about which ones bite the dust. After re watching I can say that Delta is killed by the RPG, Echo is thrown into the furnace and Charlie is crushed in Indominus' jaws. Oh and blue is a God. Just wanted to point that out.

Thanks for reading, what did you think of these brutal deaths, accompanying this discussion will be my spoiler review of JW...

*Spoiler Alert*

If I'm being honest, I didn't care for Zara's death scene, simply because it was pretty brutal and I felt kinda bad for her. I think, if they were going to have someone die like that, it could have been someone else...

Not that anyone else really deserved that, but still... I dunno.

The only human I felt bad for when they died was Masrani, and I felt the saddest when the three raptors died.

And Blue is like a god, seriously, Hell with Rexy, Blue FOR THE WIN!!!!

^But what about ALAN!?

Actually, Charlie was blown up by the rocket (I thought it was Echo at first... :P)

Apparently Zara's death scene was somehow recorded and is on YouTube... (Which it shouldn't be, by the way).

From what I see, most people agree with me. That death scene was more brutal than it needed to be for a rather innocent person.

Oh, yeah, and not a god but yes, Blue is the most awesome raptor ever.

Oh yes, that is right Sci-FI King!!! Blue is in fact the very incarnation of ALAN! himself, sent again to Jurassic World to convert the people!

And Zara's death was brutally awesome. TO be straightforward, I find it kind of ignorant when people say that some death scenes were too brutal for an innocent person.

Yeah, like predators are going to make sure to not be soo tough when killing their prey. A pack of lions aren't gonna be like "That elephant is nicer than the others, let's just kill him nicely, kay everyone? :)))))"

No, predators are just going to act how they act. Not also too mention it's not like this character played an important role in the film itself.

And I'm sure her death was meant more for amusement, because I do not know about you, it was brutal but awesome.

Same with Nedry's death.

Just my thought.

@Raptor-401

It would be different if it was real life, that's one thing, but it's not. It's a movie.

If we wanted to play that game, we could say all the predators in the films COINCIDENTALLY managed not to kill any of the more main and important characters, the ones that were good people. The only reason none of them died was because the filmmakers were in control, therefore they chose to give Zara that particular brutal death when they could have given it to someone else.

And all of the other deaths in the film made more sense than that scene. That ONE particular death was dragged out and brutal, which was obviously the intention. It wasn't about the predator kills the prey who happened to be innocent, it was about, like you said, amusement.

And, being totally honest here, it could just be me. Personally, I find that I am over-sympathetic. I don't enjoy watching someone die under any circumstance, even if it's just a movie, which is a reason why I absolutely DETEST a lot of 'horror' films. However, in a lot of cases, such as Jurassic Park, I find that I'm really not bothered by the deaths in the film.

Now while I'll admit that the Dilophosaurus scene is pretty cool, it's mostly just because the Dilophosaurus looks spectacular. And at least it didn't SHOW Nedry's death, unlike Zara's.

But that's just me, I find that a lot of my opinions on this site are different than almost everyone else's.

Well the thing is judging from the scene they just wanted to make a scene where you partly feel bad for her but at the same time find it spectacular in a brutal way.

And it's just a movie, not like the death scenes happened in real life, the movie is after all for entertainment.

And if the death was not as brutal, it wouldn't be as entertaining.

Sara's death was brutal, yes. Now, if that was Hoskins, what would the opinion be?

Jack of all trades. Master of none

^^That's another point I wanted to make. Had it been a charcter like Owen, the opinion would also bu hugely different.

^Of course the opinion would've been different. Because he's a villain and an extremely unlikable character.

I agree Zara's death was a bit much. Her character did nothing to warrant that kind of end and it felt like beating a dead horse. It went on too long and while the resulting Mosasaurus chomp was visually thrilling it did very little to help anything about the movie and there's really no thematic or visual point to it.

It was already established that the Mosasaurus likes to leap out of the water for its prey, we didn't need another reminder to buy how it finished off the I-Rex.

Well considering that Jurassic World wa salos made to be a thriller and entertain Jurassic Park fans new and old, I think it was actually kind of neat to make the death scene brutal, because death scenes in Jurassic Park are meant to be entertaining, no matter how brutal, such as the death scene in The Lost World where the man (cannot remember his name) is eaten by compies.

I believe the fundamental question with regards to a death within a film is this: does it serve a purpose to advance the story? In my opinion, Zara's death was simply an attempt to shock audiences and (perhaps) bring gravity to the situation at hand. The dinosarus were on the loose; people were bound to be attacked and/or killed. However, such instances should be conducted in an implied manner. Had Zara been dragged up into the sky and then dropped into a tree only to have a large group of pterasaurs land about her, obscuring her from view as they move in, that would have been more than enough to show that she was in mortal jeopardy from which she could not escape. However, the actual manner in which she was slain in the film was...almost exploitative. I am not stating that the filmmakers were in the wrong; however, I believe they could have shown a little more restraint with Zara's death sequence. :)

DINOZILLA0439 - I could not agree more; most horror movies are nothing more than the display of violence and gore for their own sake. Horror films that rely on instilling fear through making you think, on the other hand, are sometimes very compelling! :)

@Something Real

Agreed, I think I remember a few horror movies I've seen that weren't so bad, usually PG-13 ones because they're significantly less violent/gory.

Scary movies that try to create a creepy, intense atmosphere instead of relying on gore are usually not bad.

I have said it many time, Charlie was RPG'ed, Delta got the furnace and Echo got the I-Rex + Delta killed Hoskins...

I can give evidence, a lot, but main factor is Charlie camera screen goes fuzzy with static plus it can't be Echo since she has a scar on her snout which is not seen there but later one. Delta killed Hoskins in a referance to what happened earlie in the film, and was the only green raptor left plus she had no stripes.

And yes the other anky is knocked down, but there were 4...

Not gonna lie, I cried a little when Charlie died. Don't know why, but maybe it's something to do with my love for raptors, or just how the scene itself played out.

Here, have a waffle (-'.')-#
