MemberCompsognathusJul-14-2014 6:44 AMAs most of you know, there were rumors about the new company Patel Corporation have built a new park on Isla Nublar, and we will see the ruins of the old park in the northern part of the island. But if you see, the format and the facilites of the old map does not fit with the new one that we saw.
See what difference huge there is between them.
The contour of this map even somewhat resembles the Jurassic World, but the rest has completely changed. Nevertheless, the maps for tourists are simplified, caricatured, the format of Isla Nublar in this film can be very different. See this other map that is much more precise:
This map and the new of JW do not make sense, the rivers are different, there is a pond built very close to the place where it should be the Visitor Center. It way even be that the former Visitor Center is whitin the 'Triceratops territory', but I still have doubts about it. (in this case, the map would get nearer with the other that I posted above)

Perhaps the new owners of Jurassic Park have made "renovations" to the isalnd by creating artificial waterways and rerouting others? Regardless, this is most compelling! MemberCompsognathusJul-14-2014 7:42 AMKeep in mind the "original" was created in the early 90's, so it's not going to look as up to date or what have you as the one for JW. I think that's what we're seeing here, because they look pretty similar overall.

MemberCompsognathusJul-14-2014 9:40 AMTo answer your question, i would like to refer to that episode of Family Guy when Peter recites (in his own way) how three Stephan King books made into movies were like. The movie in particular im referring to is the Shawshank Redemption. At the end of that episode, it shows Cleveland who is playing the role of Red and Peter who is playing the role of Andy. Cleveland goes to the place Peter told him to go to, which is in the middle of countryland, and reads a letter from him there and mentions in the letter that if he is reading it, the place where he is at if he is reading it, that place may be a Wal-Mart by now.
What i am getting at is the world is just changing so radically and everybody is running to catch up ;)

Now, Theres also a chance they got rid of some peices of the map, because the Tourists didn't need to know there was something there, Like the D-Rex paddock.
Theres also that chance, That the horn on the bottem of the island, Is an Artificail lake, With fences to keep in there water creatures.
