Ladies, And Gentlemen.

Exams Suck.

Good, Now that thats up and out of the way, we can get down to business. I'll make this Quick, But informative.

THIS INCLUDES SPOILERS. I WILL NOT DEAL WITH YOU WHINING. You've been warned.

Remember about a year or more Ago, JP-3D had came out, The site was buzzing with news of the Re-release and this possible new Film... Remember the Picture taken at that Expo... WAAAAAAAY Back when? I think only a hand ful of Survivng members'll remember...

We Went from this....

To this...

I must say, Quite a Change...

Now, Back to my main point, Coling attached a Picture of a Dinosaur's Shadow And titled it "Nights". The shot is from JW Filming in Baton Rouge, Probably inside one of the many tourist areas of the park, Following the main idea, that the power went out.

What is this? Some reckon it's a Spino---

*SLAP*

Does that look Like a Spino Snout to you? If so, I apoligise for Internet Slapping you.

Our dear Admin Chris gave little hints to what it was *Good job! Makes it more of a Guessing game!* Which is good to avoid spoilers.

Now, Flipping the Image, Makes it look Like A Rex.

See... let me point out some key points leading it to possibly being a rex...

In Blue, I have highlighted the Snout, and the ridge that forms up the Eye. What i've highlighted in red, Is what Concerns me. It's most likely a Distortion due to the Pavement... But I've never seen a Shadow bent that way, Which makes it look like Horns. Yes, Horns. Which leads us to D-Rex. But at this point we can Pin anything we want on D-rex.

What bugs me even more, Is right during the Gradual rise of the Eye ridge, Theres another thing poking out, Looking like another horn.

Conclusion.

Its A Triceratops.

Confused? You should be...

I can picture it now... People Running in terror in the dark from... Kora the Triceratops.

"Run Run, Before it gets you ARRG"

"Dad!"

"Run Billy Run!"

"Dad was just gored by a Fluffy Triceratops!!!"

"RUN, IT JUST BURST THROUGH THE HOTEL, AND A CAR"

I'm just Screwing with you. I truly Am... *Laughs*.

It's more Likely either a Carno (Snout is too Short however), a Ceratosaurus, Or D-rex..

Or maybe, Y'know T-rex...

Well, That ends my Time on for tonight!

See you Folks later!

Cheers!

Dinosaurs are Litterally eating me right now!

Nice Paden.

Look at the teeth. Rather small and spaced out, unlike any Rex in JP history (that's right, all four of em). The teeth are small and spaced as opposed to large and close. It could be Rex, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's the D-Rex.

Jack of all trades. Master of none

From looking at the picture it kind of reminded me of this.

In my mind, it almost completely matches it completely. As you pointed it out Paden, the ridges that were highlighted in red, are at the same place and the snout looks identical. Thoughts?

True, However, The shadow, Looks to be about maybe, Rough guess here, 20-35 Feet long/big.

Which means that the actual Dino, Is mostlikey 10-30 Feet tall. I doubt its a Dino-Croc, I'm not Dissmissing it as a Possibility, but it seems unlikely. I mean, It could and would do some damage. Definatley. But, I don't think it'd be included at JW Just because of how Dangerous it is...

Of course, their Dinosaurs, everythings Dangerous.

Here's how it could be likely. The place where the creature is in a tank, and the main part of the photo is the area where people watch the Mosasaurs, and the light, that creates the shadow, is coming from the sun or an external light source.

that doesn't look like a Tyrannosaurus snout at all...

They may have gotten creative and added ridges, etc. to the skull...but the teeth are too conical for it to be a T. Rex (an accurate one at least)

And indeed, we have seen the sihloouette of a Tyrannosaurus skull in TLW:

I think we can rule it out being Rexy..

It looks....vaguely crocodilian not unlike what Gojira2K posted a picture of...my vote is for D-Rex.. Might be the mosasaur though...time will tell i guess

im sticking with mosasaur in an aquarium. the light in the aquarium is making the shadow

@dinoboy22,

Thank you!!

It would be much darker if it was coming form An Aquarium light. The Aquarium also wouldn't be as Exposed as that one is... It seems Illogical.

Rex was a Possibility, due to the "Rex Redemtion" Title JW Forums been Mentioning. There's a Chance it may be a spino, But it's too short a snout and is missing Key details.

Guys, I think "Rex Redemption" Might not be a Rematch between the two (R and S) But a Battle Between Rexy and D-Rex... That Sillouete being D-REX!!!

I'VE FIGURED IT OUT!

looks like a croc to me

Guy... Why would a Croc be that tall... And in the Middle of Isla Nublar?

Why would they breed one anyways? Those would be much harder to get a DNA sample from, Plus impossible to feed without human loss.

x-paden-x - because maybe it's a prehistoric croc
but why would it be that tall, i don't know

anyway, the picture somehow reminds me so much of parasuchus artwork from the lost world game

Something Real

MemberTyrannosaurus RexJun-18-2014 11:19 PM

X_PADEN_X - That's exceptionally fascinating! I think the shadow is that of a D-Rex, though, as you said, we can pin just about anything on that particular beastie at this point! :)

As for the exams with which you're dealing: I'm so very sorry, sweetie! Chin up! You're an intelligent young man and I know you can power through anything standing in your way. You'll get through the rut! However, if you ever have difficulty with a particular subject, feel free to PM me and I'll see if I can be of some assistance. :)

I believe that it is not an adult T-Rex but could be the juvenile we didn't see in the first one. Like albertosaurus and gorgosaurus young Rexes snouts are thinner. It can't be Carnotaurus because the snout is way to long and the horns in carno's head begin above the eyes. It cant be ceratosaurus because the horn should be pn it's snout not above it's eye. However I have three possible answers on what it is. At first I thought it was the mosasaur because their known to have long heads and inside the mouth looked like fish it was about to eat however the more I look at it it can't be a mossasaur. Then maybe it could be a velociraptor which may be our best bet it pretty much has all the right qualities but I'm still a little scepticle. Now our best bet is either D-Rex because no one really knows what it looks like yet. Other than that it could be a distorted carnivor as far is I'm conserend not the best picture but maybe this is just a picture Colin posted to hype fans but isn't real and is used to get us back for all the leaked info

p.s good job padden I was a little shocked with the triceratops thing:)

The giant gate that read Jurassic Park was ruined. The gates where torn off and their where pieces of them all over the ground. Muldoon saw herbivore foot prints maybe Parasaurs or the Trike herd W

Allow me to bring this picture up again for analysis

Notice the horned ridge half way up the snout, this may explain that bump you pointed out, also the ridge above the eye socket is a bit higher than on the usual T-rex.

I'd like to also point out that the teeth look much more conical and lighter than that of T-Rex and the jaw structure isn't far off.

Let's also take a moment to look at "Nights" and "Rex Redemption".

The caption "Nights" makes sense for the D-Rex because during nocturnal hours there is a lower probability of detecting camouflauged creatures.

"Rex Redemption" seems like another attempt to throw us off but look at it this way. The two key parts of the word Redemption are Re- and -demption. Take away the Re- and take ther first letter of demption which is "D" and say it backwards "D-Rex!"

"Clever Girls"- Robert Muldoon

I think it is a fair to assume this is the D-Rex I think Chris was saying "It's not what you think it is" as a double trick :) to make us second guess our ideas.

Any great Star Wars fan will remember these words, "Everything I tell you is a lie, every question I ask is a trick."-Vergere

Same principal my friends.

My excitement cannot be put into words! I really want this to be the diabolus, it's just very dark and evil and I think this is the kind of mood that the presence of the looming D- Rex will have once she graces the screens next year!

How far can we push nature before it pushes back?

Well, Chris said that it isn't D. Rex. Ah well, we all could be wrong. Maybe it is Diabolus Rex, but they don't want us to know that................................

Nights? Sharp teeth? Darkness? Any of this making sense? My answer: ah well, you probably know.

Well, Chris said it wasn't a D-Rex and until we get more news suggesting otherwise, I'll stick with that. Also, it doesn't look like Spinosaurus either. Not to mention Spino wasn't on the list of dinosaurs that'll be used in the movie(yeah, I know it wasn't on iNGENs list either, but still). I say it's either a redesigned T.rex or a mosasaur(for now).
