MemberMothra LarvaeMay-12-2014 2:17 PMso we all know that muto is an acronym for "massive unidentified terrestrial organism" but will this be a code name for all monsters? pacific rim gave names to all of there monsters even if they werent specifically mentioned in the movie itself if recall correctly. what do you guys think. should newer monsters get proper names or should muto stay as the term for monsters.

MemberMothra LarvaeMay-12-2014 2:40 PMWell, they probably wont call Godzilla by his name and it seems that the M.U.T.O.s dont have a name that is known by modern age civilization, so therefore they probably wont get a "real" name.

MemberMothra LarvaeMay-12-2014 2:53 PMNaming a monster, to me the hardest part in monster creation. I like the idea of the Muto name being an acronym, one doesn't see this often.

MemberMothra LarvaeMay-12-2014 2:58 PMwell a name could be based on physical traits. take knifehead for example but even that could be tricky. i would like to see at least the main opponents to be officially named in future movies

MemberMothra LarvaeMay-13-2014 3:18 AMi dont think it was confirmed. everbody started calling it that after some leaked script. im gonna classify it as a fan made name until the movie comes out

MemberMothra LarvaeMay-13-2014 6:52 AMI remember some really cool names that some trolls spread! They were "Primis", " Empera" and "Regalux". They fooled some people into thinking they were the names of the M.U.T.O.'s! I think they are brilliant!
