spoiler alert sorry if this was already talked about...

Well this does add to the potential plot as we can now maybe get a rough idea of where the movie could be going and the notion they also said it may be more Alien-y.

Well this would surely have to show some David 8 models on some kind of mission, but the questions are is this mission just Androids only? Is this mission to LV 223 after the events of Prometheus.. or on a slim chance could it show us a mission to LV 223/426 or even Paradise set before Prometheus landed in December 2093?

I would assume we would have to rule out these David 8s as going to Paradise before David and Shaw, and that in order for them to arrive after would depends on them going to LV 223 and how many years they do that after the events of Prometheus.

Fingers crosses it will be involving a mission to LV 223 to find out what became of the crew of Prometheus and we also have more Human Crew and we get to see them see the effects of the Goo or what became of Organisms affected by the Goo.

But hopefully not at too much of the expense of finding out what Shaw and David find on Paradise.... But you know they could do a U-Turn on the plot and Ridley had hinted that once Shaw puts Davids head back on and she is in Cryo Sleep well she is at his Mercy and David could go anywhere.

Be that back to LV 223, LV 426 or even back to Earth! But i hope not!

Well as there would have been reports back to Weyland Corp of Human Contagion... Sending a team of Artificials would be logical. This would be a great plan. A team of Davids tracking down the now Adult Deacon..... Interesting.

If Shaw puts his head back on and goes into cryo ill cry-o :) that would be so stupid and would be just like part 1! She should only allow his head to work and maybe one hand our something or secure him so she's safe after what he did! Just something that makes sense! And possibly there could be a way to build into the plot a way for her to re gain trusting him but that would be hard! Plus that ship is probably way faster maybe she doesn't need cryo. But I suppose she may have not much choice if certain things are true...

Yes a whole team of David's could be fun...I got the sense from part 1 that David was a prototype but the virals made it look like there were tons of them...

Well i think thats the dilema Shaw faces and what Ridley is saying...

Shaw cant trust David, but David has some freewill and does not want to be left headless to rot, he proposes to Shaw a deal.

Shaw knows she cant trust him, but for her well her life has no meaning now all she wants to do now is get her Answers and she knows if she does not put David back together well she wont leave LV 223, and David knows that without Shaws help he would be stuck there.

So they both have to trust each other, and its more a case of Shaw the most as once she fixes David well she cant surely survive the trip without food etc and so would have to put trust in David that he would put her into Cryo Sleep and take her where she wants... Shaw has no choice the only alternative would be to stay on LV 223 with 2 years tops of Life Support on Vickers module and she would have to prey that the Company send a rescue mission to get there in time...

Or she could just hook one arm up enough to communicate with the ship or do it via his commands. Maybe strap a bomb to the back of his head :) . Maybe David Androids have a fail safe cut off and David gives her the information to do it in return for his body as a trust plea and then maybe Shaw also does not need cryo or they can put the ship on auto and she secures David till she wakes up then wakes up and David had escaped but didn't kill her etc etc...what ever it's i just hope it makes sense.

I think the whole trust issue between Shaw and David will play a important role in the movie... Why does Shaw believe in God, even after the Engineers appear to have created us, she still asks.... Who created them.

With no actual proof of God, Shaw has to use her judgement and pure faith to choose to believe what she wants...

Now she would have to take a massive leap of faith in trusting David, with no proof that he would stick to his side of the bargain, she just has to have faith he will.  As its only through David that she has any chance of finding out if her Faith in God is still correct or if she is wrong!

I think the emotional connection and trust and mistrust will make for a interesting plot between her and David.

Essentially i think her Agenda now is similar to Weylands, he came to LV 223 purely above all in the hope that if there is any truth that these Engineers created us and are thus the Gods, that they can grant Weyland Immortality i think even if the Engineer told David that he will not or can not grant Weyland extra life but that there is a afterlife that Weyland may had been satisfied at that.

But what Weyland found was these Engineers would not grant him extra life and instead killed him and then Weyland knows there is nothing and that relates also to no proof of afterlife.... David wishes him a safe journey because its now that Weyland will indeed find out if after death there is life or nothing.

Shaw may have wanted the same things that is to find out why we was created, and if there is afterlife too.

After Shaw find these Engineers are Mortal and not God, she still does not want to give up with her beleaf in a All Mighty Creator who created everything. Thats why she asked "who created them"

Now David told her these Engineers come from another place, she wants to go there to get her answers, she wants to find out if there is a higher chain of creation who created the Engineers and hopes that these beings or being would give her the answers she seeks in God, Creation and Afterlife...

And like Weyland... after she does get to Paradise.. maybe she will also find there is NOTHING!

Or does she??????

This is a very interesting story and one i hope is not Sacrificed just to give us a Xeno Alien-y fear fest!
