Script Leak? Possible? (Updated 2.0)

Confirming it's fake by way of analyzing word useage:

1) "rises from beneath an island" (how do you do that?)

2) "hits him head on in a massive nuclear explosion" (Really now?)

3) "So there it is: Godzilla has existed since the 1950's" (Oh is that all there is to it?)

4) " We learn verbally that he basically appeared and started nosing around" (We learn verbally that he has been 'nosing around'? Really?)

5) "radiation changed him somehow" (Oh really? You think?)

6)"Russia and the United States jointly dropped a nuke on him" (Really now? It's a joint effort all of a sudden?)

7) "After that he was never heard from again aside from the odd "bloop"" (How and why does something that big just disappear aside from the occasional 'bloop'?)

8) "the corpse of another Godzilla is discovered frozen in the Antarctic ice" (So we're working with multiple Godzillas now?)

8) "The fossil is locked in battle with two creatures, dubbed mutos" (You do know that isn't how it works right? Nothing actually gets frozen in time in a battle position. That's pure bull crap fantasy used in cartoons.)

9) "There are two Mutos. One male, one female. They're supposed to hunt as a pair: and their prey is Godzilla's species." (Oh really now? How do we know this again exactly? Is it etched in the fossil that hey, I'm a male and this is my female and we're supposed to be hunting together!")

10) "The Mutos need to lay eggs inside Godzilla's body so that they can gestate" (Rip off of Alien much?)

11) "because their eggs need to feed off of a nuclear power source" (How convenient for your previous statement. They couldn't lay their eggs in a nuclear power plant instead?)

12) "They call to Godzilla, and intentionally lure him so that they can tag team him and stick him with a Chrysalis" (Again, we know from a fossil this how?)

13) "Descriptively, they bring about mental images of bio luminescent assassin bugs. Long spindley legs, and two bigger arms that sort of recall the aggregate Destroyah that Junior fights in the '95 film." (And what do you mean by 'descriptively? Also, why recall such a monster? Is there some form of logic that I missed along the way?)

And how do the tables suddenly turn? You're leaving out some VERY important details you know)

16) "Functionally, they remind me a LOT of Megaguirus" (So we went from Alien rip off, to Destroyah assassin image, to Meguirus type fighter. Are you sure you're not just a fanboy?)

17) "There's even a specific moment lifted from that movie that should be pretty neat to see." (Again, convenient)

18) "By the end of the fight Godzilla has taken a good beating and is even missing a couple spines" (Oh really now? Missing some spines. And how are we supposed to believe this? Godzilla has taken quite a bit of damage before, but you seriously expect us to believe a bug knocked off his spines?)

19) "and a finale fight that has two distinct chapters." (One of them is not a finale)

20) "Godzilla kills the Mutos by brute strength." (No intellect or atomic breath now? Why the sudden change after he used it three times earlier in quick succession? Out of juice?)

You expect this Godzilla, whose tail isn't designed for weaponized combat, is thrashing and whipping it about? Have you even seen his tail or studied animal biology and limb functions?)

The meltdown is blamed on a flaw from his design, and the disaster kills his wife (the scene everyone is talking about between the two of them is ABSENT from my draft, by the way)" (Key phrase = "MY DRAFT")

23) "Earlier today on another forum that shall not be mentioned, someone in the know had taken it upon themselves to start disseminating information from a leaked script for the new Godzilla film. The result was mass chaos, and a flurry of accusations that the OP was a troll and should be banned. He/she was ordered to provide proof, and incredibly, he/she complied and started posted images from the actual script, which appeared to be the Max Borenstein revision from June 2012. 

A separate poster validated that this was the same leaked copy they possessed, and that what the OP was saying was true. After this, the OP was suddenly banned, all material removed, and a notice was posted that sharing leaked scripts is illegal and will not be tolerated on that forum."

(So an official statement from the creators of the website where the original leak went up carried with it a typo? Doesn't sound that official or professional to me)

Take it for what it is folks. It's bull. Always has been, always will be. The random who posted it on Sci Fi Japan was nothing but another fan trying to take the spotlight with 'acquired information'.

Probably fake, but one of godzilla's toys is dubbed ""tail thrashing godzillA". So it's possible he could be using his tail. Plus, studying biology and bodily functions is obviously thrown out the window since this , well, is a movie about a giant radioactive fire breathing dinosaur

@GTBETTA35 - True in a few respects, but given the fact that we know what Godzilla's tail will look like, we can determine how useful of a weapon it will be by comparing it to other animals which have had tails similar in structure and length. The first Godzilla had a tail of about the same length and shape, coming to a point rather than rounding off like that of his King Kong vs. Godzilla form onward until the Millennium series when it retook its sharper point. The first Godzilla never used his tail as a weapon, only casually smashed a few buildings with it. Why? Because of his size and the fact that moving his tail would inevitably hit them. It wasn't a weapon.

Given the structure of this Godzilla's tail, it is in fact possible he'll use it as a weapon, but it won't have the same kind of use it saw in the Showa and Heisei series runs. It's not long enough for being a truly effecive weapon, but who knows.

EDIT: Further proof this is fake comes from the realization that the origin of the leak comes from an anonymous user on 4 Chan. He posted 'leaks' regarding the Iron Man 3 trailer which turned out to be nothing more than fanfic. Coincidence that this leak comes from the same place? I think not!

It's fanfiction, a made up story about what someone else would want to see from the movie, not an official script.
