Welcome to the second DeltaFights Bonus Fight. We have in one corner the giant 40 foot long Torvosaurus that I found in a dino article and in the other corner we have the Giant Abelisaur from Kenya! Now, as par usual DeltaFights fashion, lets go meet our competitors. Torvosaurus Length: 40 feet Height: 15 feet Weight: 7.3 tons Weapons: 6 inch claws, 5 inch teeth with a 4 ton bite force Prey: Stegosaurs, Sauropods Aggression: Medium Intelligence: Low Speed: 27 mph Habitat: Forest, Grassland, River, Mountain Behavior: Torvosaurus is a sometimes solitary hunter. It prefers specific prey, but will really attack and kill anything that it can. It mostly uses its powerful jaws as its main weapon, but its long hand claws also serve as deadly weapons. It will kill any predators in its territory, but it doesn't actively go out and hunt them down. Torvosaurus seem to just attack things they come in contact with. They seem to like sticking around rivers, maybe to ambush prey, maybe to just have a reassurance of staying hydrated. When scientist went out to study a small group of Torvosaurus, the only surviving thing was a camera that showed the grizzly event of the Torvosaurus attacking and killing the research team. Torvosaurus has better smell than any other sense, but it does use hearing a lot for hunting. In close combat, it relies only on sight, but that is a sense where it lacks some. Titanovenator Length: 40 feet Height: 16 feet Weight: 8.3 tons Weapons: 4 inch teeth with 5 ton bite force, deadly headlong charge Prey: Anything and Everything Aggression: Immensely High, Will attack anything that moves Intelligence: Very Low Speed: 30 mph in a full charge Habitat: Swamps, Grassland, Light Forest Behavior: When people first found Titanovenator, they thought that it was any old Abelisaur. They where wrong. Titanovenator literally trampled them, it was even worse than the Torvosaurus expedition. Titanovenator will lower its head and run at full speed. Anything in its way will be destroyed. When one got near a city, it ran rights through one of the buildings. It has been described as a "unstoppable force of absolute destruction." It has very little armor, and no horns. It will eat about any meats, but if it has a choice between something hard to kill like a sauropod or an animal killed earlier the day, it will,go for the sauropod. It gets angered extremely easily, and when angry, it will destroy anything in its path. Terrain: Outskirts of Las Vegas, desert. Fight!!!! A very large Torvosaurus is wandering through the desert. He had just killed a Plateosaurus and eaten all he could, and now he is just wandering around, thinking of something to do. As he is wandering around, he smells something from off in the distance. The smell gets stronger, and the Torvosaurus can tell that it is heading right at him. Shortly, he sees what is coming for him. Its a very large Titanovenator, and it looks mad. The large Abelisaur runs at him, and lowers his head in a full on charge. The Torvosaurus lets the predator get closer, and when he is only 10 feet away, he jumps to the side like a matador, letting the freight train of an animal run right past him. The Torvosaurus turns to face his attacker, who still has his head down and is making a big circle. The Titanovenator runs at the Torvosaurus again, who once again, plays matador and sidesteps the charge. The Torvosaurus turns to face the Titanovenator, who has stopped his charge and is looking at the Torvosaurus. The Megalosaur roars and runs at the Titanovenator, but the large Abelisaur swings his body at just the right time to hit the Torvosaurus, and the side of his head collides with the body of the Torvosaurus. The Torvosaurus roars in pain as he feels his shoulder crack from the impact. He gives another defiant roar, and bites down on the snout of the Titanovenator, his 4 tons of bite digging into his snout. The Titanovenator shakes his head around, trying to get rid of the Torvosaurus. He finally does, but several of the Torvosaurus's teeth stay with him, embedded in the bone. The Titanovenator roars and lunges for the Torvosaurus. The Megalosaur is fast, but the Titanovenator still manages to get a hold on his side, cutting a very nasty gash in it. The torvossurus roars, and shakes the Titanovenator off. Then, he turns and runs, with the Titanovenator in close pursuit. Las Vegas, California A few very drunk guys stumble out of a bar. They are near the entrance of the city, and are the first ones to see the Torvosaurus and Titanovenator running right towards it. They don't actually think that the two dinosaurs are real, just their own minds playing trick on them. That is, of course, until the Torvosaurus tramples them. People and cars swerve to get out of the way of the two massive predators who are now running through the streets of Las Vegas. Finally the Torvosaurus turns around to face the Titanovenator. He roars and steps forwards, crushing a car underfoot. The Titanvenator roars back and lowers his head in a charge. The Torvossurus wisely gets out of the way of the running Titanovenator, who keeps on running until he slams into a casino, making an Abelisaur sized hole in the side of the building. Police sirens wail and soon the Torvosaurus sees police cars. When they look at the Megalosaur, they start to turn around, but the Torvosaurus is faster. He runs a tramples one car, leans down and picks up another with his powerful jaws, and then throws that car, hitting a third police car. The Torvosaurus then nears a roar from behind him and barely avoids getting headbutted by a running Titanovenator. The Torvossurus roars in outrage at the Titanovenator and runs after it. The Abelisaur runs through the city streets, leaving carnage wherever he goes. The Torvossurus quickly catches up to him and bites his side. The Titanovenator roars in pain and turns around, destroying buildings with his head and tail. Then he lunges for the Torvossurus, who swats at him with his long arms. The Torvosaurus rakes his claws across the Titanovenator's head and neck over and over, creating deep, bleeding wounds. The Titanvenator roars and headbutts the Torvosaurus n close range. He hits the Megalosaur's chest, pushing him upwards and knocking him over. The Torvosaurus roars, but he is on his back, and if he tries to stand, the Titanovenator will at least attack, and at worst kill him. The Totanovenator runs over to the Torvosaurus, but gets a foot to the face for he efforts. The Titanovenator stumbles back, roaring in rage, and the Torvosaurus has time to get up. The Titanovenator recovers quickly however, and he lunges at the Torvosaurus, grabbing him by the throat. The Torvosaurus gives off a strangled roar, but he realizes that this won't kill him. The Titanovenator has much to short a skull to crush his neck and windpipe. He lets out another weak roar and thrashes around, and finally, the Titanovenator lets go. The Torvosaurus gratefully breaths in and out, short on breath. This gives the Titanovenator to attack. He had backed up about a block, and now he is running at full speed with his head. He collides with the Torvosaurus at 25 mph, sending the lighther Megalosaur to the ground and pretty much breaking or damaging every bone in its body. This didn't come without a price. It triped the Titanovenator, and it fell, crushing ,any cars, but now its on its back, and getting up is almost not an option. The Torvosaurus is feeling similar things, except he is in unbelievable pain. His arms and legs aren't damaged as bad, but his side and hips are pretty bad off. Even his skull cracked. Pavement broke under the fall, and it pushing into his ribs, which isn't helping. He somehow manages roll to his belly, but a wave of pain almost causes him it black out. He slowly stands up, head low with exhaustion. He takes a shaky step forwards, then another, and another. On the third step, he almost collapse, but somehow he stays on his feet. The Titanovenator is having an even harder time getting up. He is still thrashing around, unaware of the Torvosaurus's presence. When he finally manages to stand, the Torvosaurus is already upon him. The large Megalosaur roars and bites down on the skull of the Titanovenator. It was already damaged from all the buildings it had crashes into, and the Torvosaurus's jaws cause extreme pain in it. The Megalosaur may not have the teeth or jaws to crush bone, but they are fully capable of slicing and puncturing bone, which is just what they are doing here. The Torvosaurus's teeth are going through the bone, and are dangerously close to damaging the brain. The Titanovenator, sensing his imminent death, roars, and tries to resist, but it only makes it worse, and the Torvosaurus gives a last desperate bite, sending his teeth into the brain of the Titanovenator, and quickly bleeding it to death. Both the Abelisaur and the Megalosaur fall, but only one is dead. Winner.... Torvosaurus!! His jaws, though weaker, where more suited to kill large and thick prey, and the Titanovenatoe just didn't have the long snout to do it. Although the real loser was Las Vegas, it got trashed.

Vegas is in Nevada i do believe, and I thought that Megalosaurs had extremely high bite forces. Great fight, I was rooting for Torvosaurus.

Jack of all trades. Master of none

Good fight. I was rooting for Titanovenator, but it was well written. The fight pic was drawn by DinoSteve I take it?
