MemberFacehuggerNov-08-2013 6:05 PMYou have more info on the meaning? It does feel like theres more to it and that youtube link is weird - I was hoping the film would be more like that clip. But yer this film was dark with a very unhollywood ending. Will be interesting to see how it goes down elsewhere. Strange it only opened in the us...

AdminPraetorianNov-08-2013 10:18 PMWell for instance each character is only known by a specific title, like Fassbender's character is "Counselor". It has tons of symbolism in it. I read a great article explaining it all but I can't find it atm, I will link it if I find it again.

MemberNeomorphNov-09-2013 11:31 AMOne thing I've realised (especially recently,) is the fact that, during filming Ridley has new idea's which he wants to inject into any story he wants to tell. This can make things very confusing and hard to follow!
Don't get me wrong, i'm a big fan of his and certainly don't mean any disrespect to him!
However, I've realised that after everyone involved has thrown their two pence worth into the mix, things get messed up.
For example, the story gets the green light and then filming begins. Then Ridley has new ideas that he wants to add or change. Then fox throws a few spanners into the works. The end result can often be a confusing mess, which is then passed off as being nothing more than an ambiguous story.
This doesn't make me feel very enthusiastic about the Prometheus sequel as we all know how much FOX like to meddle with other people's work!
The poster was good though!
