MemberMothra LarvaeOct-05-2013 10:56 AMI know that I want to see at least one really graphic scene where people are getting eaten alive as they plead for their lives, torn apart begging for mercy, and getting trampled underfoot by the larger monsters as the main character is trying to make his way to some destination, all the while a sort of depressing, urgency sort of music is playing.
Or maybe a scene where everyone thinks Godzilla has been killed, but then the giant beast is "reanimated" and continues wreaking havoc, in a homage to the '84 film.
I dunno, what do you want to see in the movie? Scene wise?

MemberMothra LarvaeOct-05-2013 8:24 PMI want them to have a scene where they try to stop Godzilla with an electric fence in a homage to the original 1954 film. They probably won't do that but it would be pretty awesome.

I mean towards the heisei and millennium the monsters would just shoot beams at eachother, and in the showa era it was just guys in suits doing karate moves. I'd love to see a fight like in Godzilla raids again that actually looks like a monster fight(biting scratching, constantly being at eachother's throat ect). Hopefully with cgi they'll be able to make the monsters move more fluidly and do things that would have been too difficult for people in suits to do.

MemberMothra LarvaeOct-05-2013 11:36 PMI want to see something that foreshadows a classic Toho kaiju, setting it up to return in a sequel. Also i would love to see Godzilla just generally being destructive and unstoppable, knocking over skyscrapers, demolishing waves of U.S. troops, etc.

I want a guy blasting the song from imagine dragons in his car "radioactive". As the song is playing godzilla walks buy, and stops right in front of the car, when it hits the chorus godzilla lets out a defining roar and blast the street and incinirates the car

GARETH really peeked my interest when he said the film and its content would be rooted more in reality. That statement got me thinking......what would happen to even the smallest details of the environment were in if he was really stomping around here in our little world. SOMETHING 500 FT TALL MOVING? I WANNA HEAR AIR BEING DISPLACED I WANNA SEE SCENES WHERE TINY INSIGNIFICANT PPL LOOK UP AND CANT EVEN SEE HIS FACE AS HE INDISCRIMINATELY DESTROYS US ALL I WANNA SEE GODZILLA AND THE OTHER KAIJUS FIGHT LIKE CREATURES NOT GUYS IN SUITS AAAAANDDD LASTLY I WANT GODZILLA TO BE PREDATORY WITH THESE OTHER KAIJUS LIKE A LION ROLLIN UP ON A SMALLER HYENA NO MERCY DISRESPECTFUL SLAUGHTER !!!! REJOICE MY BROTHERS OUR KING HAS RETURNED!!!

MemberMothra LarvaeOct-06-2013 9:28 PMI agree with DURP004, the fight in Godzilla raids again is one of my favorites, and I think that is how they should make them fight. (of course with CGI it will look much cooler) Another thing is like ^^, I want to see it from the humans point of view as much as possible to really capture the fear and horror of a giant monster destroying everything in sight. And lastly, I want to see Godzilla save his atomic breath for later in the movie after his initial attack, just like in the 1954 movie. Just as you think it can't get any worse, Godzilla sets the city on fire with his BLUE atomic breath!!

I think it would be interesting to see some sort of electricity trap, I'd love a tooth and claw battle, the "radioactive" thing is something I entertained too as this movie will more than likely need a bit of mood lightening before all of hell is let loose on the land, and it'd be amazing if they decided to hint at a TOHO monster making its way into the US film (Given that TOHO says it's okay, or that we get the license for it). Yeah, I agree with GODZILLAMYCUZZIN, it'd be hard for them to make the movie horrifying without all of those details. Especially the atomic breath, I know it's not going to be as spectacular, I believe the word Edwards used, so I'm interested in finding out what it is he means by that.

MemberMothra LarvaeOct-07-2013 6:09 PMTHANKS FOR THAT BCROCKETT94 I know most of us men and women remember being little watching GODZILLA rooting for him, admiring the fact no military (or establishment) could take him down, cheering watching him put the moves to his enemies and i want all those feelings when i watch this new movie too BUT being older now ive come to understand the first film was a statement about the atomic bomb i want gareth to make that same statement with this film for this our time (2014) IF THOSE DETAILS ARE PRESENT AND SUDDENLY OUR BRAINS MAKE THE CONNECTION (JEEEEEESUS WHAT IF?......WHAT IF HE REALLY WAS HERE? IN ESSENCE WHEN WE WATCH HIM CRUMBLE BUILDINGS CRUSH PPL TO NOTHING LEVEL ALL THAT WEVE COME TO BUILD AS THE "GODS" OF THIS PLANET....WELL BE WATCHING WHAT OUR LITTLE BOMBS CAN DO TO US ALL.
