Final Battle Royale Aquatica Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Final Battle Royal Aquatica! This is new from FBR and I hope you enjoy it! The Liopleurodon has been made the size of it's depiction in Walking With Dinosaurs in order to even out the fight. I hope you enjoy it! Now let's meet the two giants clashing against each other today! Liopleurodon (this is actually from someones deviantart, I think this is what we'll see if that potential plot leak was true...) Liopleurodon, for the sake of the story was eighty feet long. It weighed in at nearly 200,000 pounds and had a lethal bite. Liopleurodon was capable of reaching speeds of up to fourty miles per hour. It's teeth were deadly and all these assets make Liopleurodon a fierce competitor. Megalodon Megaladon was sixty feet long. It had sharp serrated teeth and a bite greater than T. Rex. It was capable of reaching speeds of up to fifteen mikes per hour, and was very maneuverable. Megalodon was the largest shark that ever swam the Pleistocene seas. BEGIN! Dr. Sorkin had just opened the gate in anticipation to release a Tylosaurus into the world's oceans. Suddenly, she felt a huge thump and found herself plummeting into the water through the access hole in the bottom of the large control dome she was in. Suddenly Dr. Sorkin felt an unimaginable pain and then suddenly it was over. She had been eaten by the Tylosaurus. Dr. Harding panicked. Firstly, he set the gate to slowly close. His daughter Jess, an island native Nina and he were swimming away, barely managing to escape the Tylosaurus. It was a tight squeeze, but the three made it out of the cage safely. Dr. Harding was thinking about Dr. Sorkin the entire time back onto land. What he didn't know is that Dr. Sorkin was working on something that nobody knew about. Something she called project L. Nobody knew about it but her, but soon the coastline would know all about project L. That hole. The Opthalmosaurus got out. The Megalodon barely got out, but this monster couldn't fit out. Hunger was getting to the best of this giant. It has been months since he had last been fed. Suddenly, the eighty foot long, 200,000 pound Liopleurodon was slamming into the cage as hard as he could. Finally the dome shattered, the hole got bigger, and the Liopleurodon was home free. Now, all he needed to do was navigate the rivers and get himself into the coastline where he could surely find food. It was a bright day on the coastline of Island Nublar. The sun was shining, the dinosaurs were calling, and the water was crystal clear. Then, everything suddenly got quiet. The water started rippling and a huge dorsal fin shone out of the water. Suddenly the dorsal fin disappeared beneath the waves. This was a Megalodon. Sixty feet long with a bite force greater than T. Rex and a flexible cartilage skeleton, this shark is designed to kill. The Megalodon senses prey nearby. It accelerates quickly. The chosen victim: A sperm whale. It's too close to shore and it is now prey for this Megaladon. The Megaladon is in close range, and aiming for the right flipper. He opens his jaws and pushes them outward while he protectively rolls back his eyes and bites down hard. The sperm whale screams in pain. The water has now been tainted a dark red and the whale's mobility has been seriously limited. The Megalodon has tasted blood now, and has the urge to finish this battle. The sperm whale cannot steer very well now, but still has the energy to flee. As it starts to get away it loses the scent of the Megalodon and the sperm whale begins to calm down. Then, the sperm whale feels incredible pain in his underbelly and begins to panic. The Megalodon has taken a bite out of the sperm whale's belly. The intestines are pouring out as the whale continues to thrash about helplessly. The Megalodon seizes the opportunity and dives down. He hits bottom abruptly and the Megalodon heads upward, accelerating at full speed. The Megalodon gets himself into the brace position and hits the sperm whale in it's skull. The head bends backward and the sperm whale's panicked screams are abruptly stopped. The Megalodon has killed the whale and begins to feast The massive Liopleurodon is rocketing down the river, and suddenly he spies the outlet into the ocean from a shallow cove. As the Lioleurodon pours into the water he makes a lot of racket, but the abundance of food has already taken the Liopleurodon's attention. This Liopleurodon is hungry and immediately begins to hunt for food. Then, suddenly the Liopleurodon begins to pick up the unmistakable scent of blood in the water, and it isn't far off. The Liopleurodon moves quickly to the location of the scent. This Liopleurodon finds it to be a large dead mass of flesh that he doesn't recognize, but hunger overcomes this Liopleurodon and it decides to eat anyway. The first bite this Liopleurodon takes is incredibly satisfying. The Liopleurodon goes in for another and another until he is beginning to feel better. Suddenly the Liopleurodon feels a disturbance in the water. He turns around quickly, still very hungry. Then, suddenly the aggressor comes into view. It is a shark. A Megalodon. The Liopleurodon is used to sharks, but the scent he catches reminds him of the small fries he lives alongside. The Liopleurodon is hungry and decides to take on the massive shark. The two foes circle each other. The Megalodon has a kill to defend and is pumped full of rage. Suddenly the Liopleurodon speeds forwards. He opens his jaw and clamps down hard on the large tail of the Megalodon. The Megalodon feels incredible pain. He swims forward with a burst of power, only to lose part of his tail. The Megalodon has a serious injury now. The Megalodon notices the Liopleurodon go in for another rear side attack, but the Megalodon's flexible cartilage skeleton quickly turns around and grabs the huge flipper of the Liopleurodon. The Megalodon shakes his head violently and dislocates the flipper of the Liopleurodon. Now the score is settled, but the Megalodon means business. He begins charging in again, but then quickly changes direction. There is another Megalodon in the area and this male needs to drive it away. The Megalodon will finish this later. The Liopleurodon gets a very lucky break. He is still alive, and can still barely swim. He won't be able to catch prey for a while however, and that may complicate things. The Liopleurodon seizes this opportunity to swim away to safety. He heads two rd a shallow cove as the skies begin to darken. The Liopleurodon finds a sandbank and rests. The Megalodon has won this match for supremacy and his fury has returned. He is approaching the sandbar, where he can smell the Liopleurodon. The first few drops begin to fall onto the water's glassy surface as the Megalodon rounds the corner to see no Liopleurodon. The Megalodon smells again and realizes that there is a scent trail. Then, out of the blue the Liopleurodon speeds into the back of the Megalodon, forcing it into a coral wall, which shatters. The Megalodon's face is now leaking blood out of the fractured parts of the skull. The Liopleurodon comes around and attacks the flanks of the Megalodon, tearing out chunks of flesh with every bite. The rain is coming down harder on the now red water, and the currents are changing. The Liopleurodon is thrown off and begins to struggle. His useless rear flipper is about to be a major handicap. The rain is pouring and the wind is blowing now and the currents sweep the panicked Liopleurodon to the other side of the cove. The Megalodon makes his escape. The Liopleurodon is soon swept into the side of the coral reef and breaks several ribs. Then, the Liopleurodon is swept into the middle of the cove and slowly sinks into the bottom. At that moment the Liopleurodon is attacked by the mouth of a Megalodon shark. This shark intends to end the fight now and viciously tears large holes in the Liopleurodon. Then, the Megalodon begins to bite the head with a force greater than T. Rex. The Megalodon squeezes and feels several minor fractures. The struggling Liopleurodon is in major pain and thrashing about violently. Suddenly a powerful current sweeps the Megalodon away and the Liopleurodon into a shallow coral alley very near shore. The Liopleurodon cannot mover or see from his current position. The current is going wild and sea foam is everywhere. Then, out of the wall of sea foam a huge mouth appears at a high speed. Quickly the Megalodon seizes the head of the Liopleurodon and squeezes again. Suddenly he hears a sharp crack and smells a lot of blood nd instinctively knows the Liopleurodon carcass is dead. The Megalodon is trying to escape the cove now, but suddenly a huge current sweeps him into a wall of coral and the Megalodon blacks out. When the Megalodon wakes up at the bottom of a sandbar, he instinctively knows something is wrong. The storm has passed, but there is still a large splash coming from the river outlet. The Megalodon feels a disturbance in the water and decides to go check it out. (We left the end like this, for a sequel which will be determined by the number of good replies in the comments) Directors cut: This fight was written and commissioned by future paleo, he suggested and wrote it... I'm quite impressed by its turn out... Also, this signals the near end of season 2, we will completely end it on site a, I mean we will completely end it with an FBR.... written by: futurepaleontoligist1 FBR "1 Voice can represent a nation..."

While the fight was good, I can't say I fully agree with the winner. I know I'm a member of the FBR Team and all, but still. I was going for Liopleurodon more than Megalodon. The fight was done well, but I'm leaning toward a different victor.

I think if Lio had been able to get Meg firmly in its jaws it would be all over. But same applies to Meg.

Great. I don't wanna sound like a jerk, but I would not mind seeing a rematch ;)

We always leave the floor set for a sequel, why do you think it took us so long to get a confirmed kill in FBR? Ive an idea for what season 3 will look like.... First we must jump the hurdle of FBR 4

The whale killer Meg wins... I think a cool match to see would be Livyatan vs Megalodon.
