Sorry I haven't been here much. After my son got sick I had to take care of him a lot, as any father would. He's still not in 100 % health but he's getting better! To make up for my tardiness, I figured I would do a few bonus fights and try out a new description style in the form of "InGen files", something that will show the history of the fictional mutations given by InGen and other characteristics of the dinosaurs. In this fight, Ekrixinatosaurus and Allosaurus fragilis will face off for the chance to take on Kelmayisaurus in the coming fights of season 2. Can Ekrixinatosaurus keep his position? Will Allosaurus become the only dinosaur to appear in both season 2 and 3? Let's find out... InGen File Name: Allosaurus fragilis Code Name: Allo Also Known As: Al Danger Level: Extremely dangerous Height: 15 feet Length: 36 feet Weight: 3 tons Speed: 31 mph Diet: Various herbivores Weapons: Bite, speed, claws, jumping ability Description: Allosaurus fragilis, though not the largest species of Allosaurus, is perhaps the most aggressive. It has a very light skeleton that enables it to run fast and, unusually for a carnivore of its size, jump. Due to this ability it has escaped numerous times and has killed at least two people every time according to reports. The exact number of times it has escaped is unknown, though it is thought to be around fifteen. It behaves much like a dromaeosaur, often hunting in packs to take down much larger prey than itself, mostly hadrosaurs and sauropods. It jumps on its prey, but lacking the toe claws of dromaeosaurs, uses its upper jaw like a hatchet to chop the neck of its prey repeatedly. Allosaurus has an unusual ability to dislocate its lower jaw while eating to swallow larger chunks of food than most dinosaurs could. It often fights with medium sized tyrannosaurs like Daspletosaurus, Gorgosaurus and Albertosaurus for unknown reasons, as they have completely different food preferences. Allosaurus are well known among the scientific community for their remarkable healing ability. They frequently suffer broken or fractured ribs, jaws, arms, legs and hips and recover within a couple months. Their healing ability is not a mutation but instead something that all Allosaurus naturally have. Allosaurus roars are easily identifiable, as they make very loud and high pitched roars that differ from any other species. Like the related Carcharodontosaurus they have been described as noisy and easily excitable. Unlike Carcharodontosaurus, they do not consume much food, only required to be fed once a week. The Allosaurus fragilis population exists only on Sorna, as they had not yet been transported to Nublar for lack of a secure enclosure. In recent years, paddock designs have been formulated to keep them from escaping because Mr. Hammond insisted in having them because of their prestige. As with all dangerous dinosaurs, they should be tranquilized from the safety of a helicopter and as soon as they are sedated should be bound, blindfolded and muzzled for transportation to avoid any accidents should the sedatives wear off. InGen File Name: Ekrixinatosaurus Code Name: Destroyer Also Known As: Crusher, Exploder, "the devil!", killer of killers Danger Level: Extremely dangerous Height: 15 feet Length: 36 feet Weight: 6 tons Speed: 26 mph Diet: Other carnivores Weapons: Bite, large size Description: Ekrixinatosaurus is by far the most destructive dinosaur created. It has broken out a record 27 times and seems to enjoy rampaging. Over the escapes it ate 30 workers and destroyed the fences of several enclosures, where it killed but didn't eat the dinosaurs in them, including a young Tyrannosaurus, Giganotosaurus, Spinosaurus, Triceratops and an adult Baryonyx. It also destroyed a lab, 12 safari jeeps, a garage, storage unit and part of an apartment complex used by the workers. It was shot with three elephant tranquilizers and even a Tyrannosaurus tranquilizer, but was immune and had to be shot several times in the head with an elephant gun before it died. It killed workers in a horrifying way: it shook them so rapidly that their limbs flew off and their bodies were torn to pieces. Only a couple workers on site the day of the final escape survived and claimed they saw the devil in the animal's eyes and declared it was "evil" and shouted "it's the devil!" repeatedly in an apparently permanent state of hysteria. The reason behind its rampage is unknown. Though they were banned from being cloned ever again, several workers apparently cloned a number of them on "accident" and were ordered to euthanize them. They instead released them in to the wilderness with claims that death was unjust and were promptly fired. All attempts to capture or kill them have been met with failure and death. From what little is known about them, they are a pale white with red markings that resemble wounds. When hunting, they walk with a fake limp and secrete a smell that attracts predators. For good measure, they actually bleed from their eyes and bite their tongue to strengthen the smell. When a carnivore attacks them, they turn around and eat their attacker(s) themselves. They are the largest abelisaurs known and have an extremely heavy and muscular body that supports a deep and powerful skull. Like the smaller Abelisaurus, they do not roar very often but instead bark, snarl, whine and growl like a huge dog. When they do roar, it has been described as very similar to the roar a grizzly bear possesses. Their whereabouts are unknown. Though Mr. Hammond would like them to be included on opening day, it is very unlikely. Until and unless a maximum security enclosure is built they are off the list but a DNA sample is requested when and if they are killed. Paddock designs are currently in the works just in case they are ultimately captured. FIGHT! The only male Ekrixinatosaurus cloned hunts, looking more like prey than a predator with his markings. He pretends to whimper in pain and limps slowly as he hears something rustling in the bushes. His scent and clearly huge wounds are appetizing to the Allosaurus that watches him. The Allosaurus stalks him through the bushes, having been kicked out of his pack and now being forced to hunt smaller and weaker animals than sauropods. When the Ekrixinatosaurus pretends to stumble and stop to catch his breath the Allosaurus emerges from the brush. The Ekrixinatosaurus whines in desperation and tries to limp away but the Allosaurus bites his tail and pulls him back. Then the disguise comes off. The Ekrixinatosaurus stands up and turns around. He lunges at the Allosaurus and goes for the throat, but the speedy Allosaurus dodges. He tries for another bite, but once more the Allosaurus jumps back. The Allosaurus launches an attack of his own with a bite to the shoulder, still thinking the red stripes are large open wounds. The Allosaurus' teeth tear the thick hide of the Ekrixinatosaurus and leave a deep wound that immediately draws blood. The Allosaurus jumps back and dodges the Ekrixinatosaurus' jaws again. It circles around the abelisaur and bites the flank, tail, shoulder and thigh very strategically, tearing off small strips of flesh over and over. It finally exposes a tendon in the knee of the Ekrixinatosaurus and bites into it. The giant stoops down and roars in pain and the Allosaurus capitalizes with a jump on the back. It knocks the Ekrixinatosaurus over and then digs on to its chest with its claws, biting at its throat. The Ekrixinatosaurus' tiny vestigial arms are useless in defense and so it headbutts the Allosaurus. The Allosaurus holds tight but the Ekrixinatosaurus kicks outwards with its stocky legs, sending the Allosaurus flying in to a tree. It bounces off and hits the ground with a thud. The Ekrixinatosaurus squirms and swings its tail to try to get back up. It rolls on to its one foot and then pushes its heavy frame up with its strong legs. The Allosaurus is up as well with its broken ribs. It easily ignores the pain, having broken its ribs many times before and barely notices the hindrance of agility it causes. The Allosaurus reassesses the situation and notices the Ekrixinatosaurus is unusually strong for an animal with large and fatal-looking wounds, failing to realize that it is all just a hunting tactic. It backs in to the woods a ways but the Ekrixinatosaurus follows and looks for the Allosaurus. As the Ekrixinatosaurus looks around and fails to see the Allosaurus with its weak eyes, it turns to its sense of smell and tries to sniff the Allosaurus out. It follows the smell of blood to a big rock. The Allosaurus stands on top and roars at the Ekrixinatosaurus. It growls and circles the rock to climb it from the slanted side and the Allosaurus pounces, sending the larger Ekrixinatosaurus careening in to another boulder which it nearly runs in to head first. The Allosaurus tries to throw the Ekrixinatosaurus off balance but the Allosaurus itself is thrown off when the Ekrixinatosaurus bites its neck and whips it to the ground through a rotting fallen tree. Before the Allosaurus can get up the Ekrixinatosaurus stands over it and mauls the Allosaurus, biting its face and chest with its full bite force. The Allosaurus hisses and roars but the sound cuts off when the Ekrixinatosaurus crushes the Allosaurus' windpipe and spine, cutting off oxygen and paralyzing the Allosaurus. The Ekrixinatosaurus lifts its blood covered snout and roars in victory before it eats its toughest catch yet. WINNER: EKRIXINATOSAURUS Bigger, stronger, equipped with a more powerful bite force and specialized in clashing with larger and more evolved predators like Giganotosaurus, Ekrixinatosaurus had an advantage over the Allosaurus. While it didn't have agility, speed, meat chopping teeth or a jumping ability, it did have raw power. Raw power is crucial in coming out on the winning side when taking on an animal that is more agile than you, and Ekrixinatosaurus had that edge. The killer of killers keeps its place in season 2.

How many of these bonus fights will there be? This one was great, and does this mean Ekrixinatosauris will be in season 3? So close to first. Second!

Wow, did Ekrixinatosaurus have the ingen mutation to make it stronger, because I don't think it was that strong. Ps. Third

Judging by bones, Ekrixinatosaurus would have been very strong. Its skull was very deep, thick powerful and robust. It likely clashed with Giganotosaurus. No mutations required.

Ekrixinatosaurus is underrated. It was one of the most powerful and robust theropods to exist.

Agreed. I thought about including it in my forgotten giants series but it is gaining more press recently,

I think it would be cool to see in JP4 ... Just look at it! Its neck is so muscular that it looks like its body just ends with a head lol! So cool :P

There will be a bonus fight every few days or whenever I can spare the time until my schedule clears up. The winner of season 2 may appear in season 3, but what dino that is is still a surprise. The Ekrixinatosaurus did not have a strength mutation, it was just large and very powerful. Thanks for reading ladies and gentlemen!

The weight seems a little much for Ekrixinatosaurus. What am I saying? Great fight. Ekrixinatosaurus is like a mini T-rex. I think this is what a fight between T-rex and Giga would be like to be honest, just on a slightly smaller scale.

Are you sure? Giga is heavier than Rex, while Allo was half the weight of Ek.

Did some more research and found out the weight of Ekrixinatosaurus was actually 5.2-5.6 tons. Sorry for the exageration. :/
