Elaphrosaurus- 16 ft long, 500-600 lbs
This lightweight predator was once thought to be an early ornithomimid. However, it is now considered to be a ceratosaur.

Dilophosaurus- 23 ft long, 1 ton
This member of the ceratosaur family is famous for it's appearance in Jurassic Park. In the movie, it was inaccurately depicted as being able to spit venom and have a frill. Either way, it was a fearsome predator.

Syntarsus- 10 ft, 150 lbs
This ceratosaur is also known as Megapnosaurus. It was also featured in the award winning documentary When Dinosaurs Roamed America.

Ceratosaurus- 25 ft long, 2 tons
The largest member of this family, Ceratosaurus is also probably the most famous. This large predator, famous for it's horns, has been featured in a number of movies and shows which includes but is not limited to: Jurassic Fight Club, When Dinosaurs Roamed America, Jurassic Park III, etc.

MemberCompsognathusJun-07-2013 11:40 AMI agree with both of you. Ceratosaurus is one of my favorite dinosaurs. The family as a whole are very underrated. They were all terrifying predators even if they don't get as big as say, Allosaurus or Acrocanthosaurus.

MemberCompsognathusJun-07-2013 12:06 PMIt adds to their character. With it's 6 inch teeth, Ceratosaurus is probably the deadliest. Those teeth are some of the largest compared to body size as far as the large theropods go.
