A quick update

NoobMember0 XPJun-01-2013 7:41 PMHello DinoFans. Sorry about the computer problems. Before giving you guys an update on what's going on in the world of DinoFights (the series, not me. My real name is Elijah.), I thought I'd explain what the problem is. My 3 year old son broke my computer screen on accident. I don't know how, he just did. I get my paycheck on the 23rd of this month, so I'll get a new one then. Until then, I'll use Makaveli7's computer or my sister's phone. Now let's get down to business. I would like to start off by saying that the second fight of season 2 will be Ceratosaurus vs Majungasaurus. They're two popular middle sized dinosaurs, and it was very hard to pick a winner. For season 3, the first fight will probably be Tyrannosaurus vs Shantungosaurus. Now before you criticize me for tilting the odds in favor of T-Rex, you have to remember that Shantungosaurus was over 54 feet long and very bulky, and could use its massive size to crush predators or pulverize them with its tail. If you want to see a schedule for season 2, let me know. If it's demanded enough, I'll share it. It's not complete yet, but I have a rough draft. I likely won't make very many changes. As an apology for the delay, I will give you a few dinosaurs that will appear in season 3. Ankylosaurus Sauroniops Acrocanthosaurus I've mentioned Ankylosaurus before, but the others are new. I can also tell you that Saurophaganax, Torvosaurus and Epantarias will be considered synonyms of Allosaurus. Torosaurus will also be grouped under Triceratops. Tarbosaurus might appear, but it's unlikely it would advance very far, so it may be replaced by Deltadromeus or something. Questions? Comments? Hate mail? Input? Think Tarbosaurus should be replaced? My fiancé and I are hanging out at her sister's house for a couple days so I'll be in and out.

NoobMember0 XPJun-01-2013 8:06 PMYou have a lot of nice information. Just a few things I would like to point out... You should mention what certain information is based off of. Like the 50 foot T-Rex. The highest estimates put it at that, but most accept it as 40-43 feet. You should also take into account synonymous dinosaurs, like the Epanterias-Allosaurus thing and the Torosaurus-Triceratops thing, which could have put Allosaurus at over 40 feet and Triceratops at 30 feet. You should mention Deinocheirus in the Gallimimus entry, stating that Gallimimus may have been the largest ornithomimid, behind only Deinocheirus. The only true "error" I noticed is on Liopleurodon. It was only really around 30 feet. Walking With Dinosaurs and a few other things put it at such huge sizes, but those sizes are based on the Monster of Aramberri, which was once thought to be a Liopleurodon, but was later found not to be. The juvenile specimen was about 50 feet long! Other than the Liopleurodon "error", I think it was a great site. A little rough, but it's getting there.

After all, it's certain it would lose against T-Rex, Spino, or Giga if they met. Majungasaurus vs Ceratosaurus should be good but the titanic battles of season 3 should trump even that!

NoobMember0 XPJun-01-2013 8:43 PMYeah it should be replaced. Triceratops had at least a 50/50 chance against T-Rex, and Tarbosaurus was a close but smaller relative, so it would lose for sure. It would be almost the same thing anyways. I think Deltadromeus would be something new.
