Dilophosausus Height: 6.5 feet Length: 20 feet Weight: 1,500 lbs Weapons: Spits venom, intimidating frill, claws Speed: 25 mph Diet: Primarily a scavenger, eats smaller dinosaurs Defeated: Herrerasaurus, Guanlong Description: A wily scavenging dinosaur, this strange little dinosaur used its speed combined with spittable venom to subdue small prey. It had long teeth with small roots, suggesting a diet of deceased dinosaurs. It's strange almost crocodilian skull would have a small bite force, not built for killing. Troodon Height: 4.5 feet Length: 7 feet Weight: 115 lbs Weapons: Supreme intelligence, sickle shaped claws, speed, serrated teeth Speed: 45 mph Diet: Small to medium sized herbivores, small mammals and lizards Defeated: Scipionyx Description: Perhaps the smartest dinosaur of all time, Troodon was smarter than any other animals of the Cretacious period. To accompany its large brain, Troodon had a killer sense of smell, sharp serrated teeth, speed, claws like those of other dromaeosaurs (raptors) and huge eyes for seeing in darkness. These eyes faced forwards, giving it an amazing depth perception. Had it not gone extinct because of a meteor, it likely would have evolved to be smarter than humans, which evolved from the mammals that lived alongside the dinosaurs. Troodon ate them. A lone Dilophosaurus walks the beach of Isla Nublar. He meanders along slowly, the morning sun now beginning to rise. Suddenly, a pack of 3 Troodon come trotting down the beach towards him. He pays no attention to them, and keeps walking. They however, block his path. He looks down at them, puzzled by their bold move. He tries to walk around them, but they continue to stay in front of him. He hisses and activates his frill, attempting to intimidate them rather than waste his energy fighting. They hiss back, now fanning out around him. One, the female, moves to his left, the smaller male moves to his right, and the alpha male stays in front. He knows they will attack any second, so he makes the first move: he spits venom into the face of their alpha. Immediately, the others jump on his back, stabbing their claws into his skin and biting him. The female bites his retracted frill, tearing off a large chunk. The other bites the back of his neck. The alpha, blinded, aimlessly bites and tries to locate the Dilophosaurus, but can't. He uses his sense of smell to find him, but still can't get a good bite. The Dilophosaurus falls to his right side, neatly killing the smaller male with his much greater weight. The smaller Troodon lays on the ground, his ribs crushed and his spinal cord severed, clearly out of the fight. The female tries to bite his throat, but again gets a mouthful of frill. He tries to shake her off, but her claws are too deep into him. He stands up, swerves to the right, and she crawls to the left, where he falls again. She is barely caught, suffering a broken tail. He stands up again, attacking the alpha. He slams into the alpha with his side, knocking him over, then proceeds to bite into his belly. The alpha kicks at his face, taking out one of his eyes, then biting his snout. The female, though off balance, jumps on the back of the Dilophosaurus once more, making him let go of the alpha. He tries to use his weight to crush her again, but misses and fractures 3 of his ribs. She attacks his belly, but he kicks his feet and catches her in the face. She flies back aways, giving him the opportunity to struggle back to his feet. She awkwardly runs at him, not able to jump the right way due to her broken tail, and slams into his chest. He bites into her neck while she claws at his face, almost taking out his other eye before he manages to snap her neck. He lifts his head up just in time to see the blinded alpha disappear into the trees. He roars in victory as he stands tall over the smartest dinosaur ever to exist. WINNER: DILOPHOSAURUS Surprisingly, the venom spitting Dilophosaurus defeats the smart Troodon. Although in real life they would never meet, if they did, Troodon would have a slight advantage. However, this is taking place in the Jurassic Park universe, so the Dilophosaurus has a frill and spits venom. For this reason and superior size, Dilophosaurus wins.

Yeah. I hate to see Troodon lose to Dilophosaurus but the venom and frill were quite an advantage. Couldn't happen irl but in JP, I agree.

I thought it was gonna be Troodon vs Raptorex for the spot but I guess it'll be Dilophosaurus vs Deinonychus for the win.

Did Troodon have venomous mutation? Wow. I think Dilo still wins cuz of size.

Thank you all. I would like to visit Rome someday. Another thing I forgot to mention was that it seems to me that many or all of the JP dinosaurs seem to have an intelligence mutation. So even if you argue that Troodon was smarter, Dilophosaurus probably had it to so it still wins due to near equal intellect and greater size.

I really liked this one. My favorite is still Deinonychus vs Achillobator.

Deinonychus vs Achillobator was pretty awesome. Will we ever see Achillobator, Deinonychus or any other small dinos after this?

Possibly. After season 3, I plan to do a survey to see what the most demanded fights we didn't see are, then I'll make them happen.

Until then they'll just make cameos, like the pterosaurs did in Velociraptor vs Pachycephalosaurus.

Well after the whole fight wouldn't the dilo have died because troodon's venom causes hallucinations, paralysis, and brain death

I forgot about the venom, but if I included it then yeah, they would.
