Brontosaurus>Apatosaurus
MemberCompsognathusMay-24-2013 12:52 PMBrontosaurus is one of the most well known dinosaurs to kids (at least it was when I was little), and I personally was pretty disappointed to find out it didn't exist, but instead was called Apatosaurus. I think that if the name was changed back to Brontosaurus, it would avoid confusion, and it just sounds cooler. It also has a cooler meeting. Apatosaurus means "deceptive lizard", and Brontosaurus means "thunder lizard". The reason the name was changed is bogus. The head wasn't discovered with the body, so they replaced it with one of a Camarosaurus. Upon finding the real head, they changed the name. If it isn't reverted back to Brontosaurus, the name Brontosaurus needs to be assigned to another dinosaur.

Life cannot be contained, it breaks walls, crashes through barriers sometimes painfully, but uh... Life uh, finds a way
