Im not necessarily surprised by this as i was initially under the impression the the additional footage was clocking in at closer to approximately 25 extra mins. fine. However, they better not be saying that the only additional footage going on the blu ray is whats already been noted on the dvd (10 mins). What are we inferring? that we only get 10 mins of additional scenes or that we get somewhere around 25 mins of footage (not 40)?

I'd say there is still going to be an extended cut at some point. The fact Fox is being so mysterious about it suggests that there will be multiple releases I think.

I suspect RESTORATION CUT (02:30:00) will not be on any media pre-Xmas 2012 - but who's to say what'll happen [i]'theatrically'[/i] i.e. [url=http://www.whatis101112.com]whatis101112[/url]'s RELAUNCH of said film.
2013 sci-fi horror novels 'Custodian' and 'Tandem' available from Amazon, B&N, iTunes etc...

I did not see the recent 10 minutes revealed tho...did not wanne spoil anything for myself...but i did not mind reading all about it...which of the above scenes made up the 10 minutes tho....I will be thrilled if anyone can tell...i suspect it is the following ones ?

I think everyone might be jumping the gun as to the impact on what we are expecting - which fundamentally is the theatrical cut with the scenes as extra content in another menu

Although it doesnt matter to me (because im purchasing the 4 disc blu ray edition), are we to understand that the blu ray will have more alternate/deleted content than the dvd? also, i noticed that the extensive documentary (the gods are angry) appears to be exclusive to the 4 disc blu ray set. In other words, it seems as though the 2 disc blu ray release will not include the aforementioned documentary.

Shit, i didn't even know about this documentary. I'm psyched. All the more reason to get the big blu ray edition. DVD just cant contain all this footage, unless of course they make like a 6 disc set or something.
