I saw this and it reminded me of my weekend frustration to find Author C. Clarke's Rendezvous with Rama in eBook format. This is a site dedicated to saving "Out of Print" Science Fiction stories. This people is a critical situation for all fans of Sci Fin literature. http://savethescifi.com/

Nice find. I've already passed the link on to those I know will be extremely interested. Surprised to see Ray Cummings on the rescue list.

Thanks Batchpool, I was wondering if anyone other than myself was a true Patriot of Classic Science Fiction (one you really have to read). LOL

I used to devour Asimov, Heinlein, Clarke, E. R. Burroughs, Ellison, and Wells when I was a kid. Anyone remember Analog magazine?

I just bought "Rendevous with Rama" at a used book sale this summer but I haven't cracked it open yet. I'm gonna need stuff like this to tide me over until Prometheus 2 comes out. Hey and yes I remember Analog magazine... I thought that it was still around in some form.

Yeah, I am aware of Analog, but I never read it. Here's titles that have seen their demise: Starlog magazine Omni magazine Cinescape

Read 'Three stigmartyr of Palma Eldritch' by P.K.Dick. Look for modern inervaters too like Will Gibson, Bruce Sterling, Dan Simmmons as well as (the best in my opinion) classics from post 50's writers. Like then it was lyrically a "Brave New World", now its further along and decent ideas are often found in a crack between walls. Maybe like other forms of art, the literature will float or sink and the best will unfortunatly become a classic after the authors demise. The world moves so fast that few seem to have time to read or breath anymore.
