MemberOvomorphJul-15-2012 7:27 PMI think this is a cert to happen as we've seen with every other xeno type when it is born, even up to Cuddles.
Original Xeno - chestburster to full xeno was a BIG change in a short time - some resemblance in the head.
Cuddles - the squid like form with its main egg like body, changed into the huge proto-hugger that however had NO SIGN of the body it was originally born with - another pause for thought there.
I'm sure there are other examples along the way than these iconic ones...
But my point is, will we see a notable change in the Proto that was born from the Engineer in it's newborn state essentially? Will it grow as the examples we have seen before?

MemberOvomorphJul-16-2012 1:12 AMThe "Deacon" may never really result in the classic xeno based on the mural in the dome. With a culture as advance as the Engineers, I think the mural would be more vivid and reminiscent to Giger's original creation. I think the Deacon is the end result. Hope their will be a new creature that will make the xeno look like child's play in the works. If they make proper sequel.

I'm more intrigued to whether it will grow in line with the growth rate of the other species we have seen grow from born states

If a new creature of this proportion enters the storyline this would cauase the Humans and XENOs to unite to fight a common enemy..
