(These are not in order of events) - I felt the prologue was a bit unnecessary. It was also a bit frustrating because the look of the engineer was revealed straight away. I think it would have been more exciting to finally see what the engineer looked like later on in the movie. - When Fifield and Milburn (is it Milburn?) come across the pile of dead Jockey, Milburn says "It looks like it opened up from the inside", like a chestburster? But we don't know as it never gets looked into and is not focused on by the camera! - I also find it strange that they would only brief the crew on their mission after 2 years of travelling through space and hyper sleep. What were they all thinking of when they all left earth? - When Shaw manages to get the alien out of her by herself, nobody else on the ship seems to really care. It is as if it just gets overlooked. Surely Vickers would be the first one to notice a bloody alien in her own room? Which brings me on to my next point...... - How come when Shaw tries to use Vickers' med pod to perform a cesaerian section it says that the med pod is "only compatible with male patients" when it is Vickers' own personal piece of equipment? Is she a robot?... - The little worms (that I presume were affected by the black goo to become hammerpedes) that we see when they first enter that room with the big head look very like the worms on earth. Were they somehow dragged in by the humans or are they alien worms, ready to be mutated into hammerpedes? - David seems to be a good guy but after he spikes Holloways drink, he MUST be a bad robot? I thought that was weird because it was the only suspicious thing he did in the movie. - When the Prometheus ship is crashed into the alien ship, Janek and the two other crew members don't seem too phased that they are about to die... - I felt Guy Pearse's role was terribly unconvincing. They should probably have used a very old well known actor instead. Although with the Peter Weyland viral being released, we get to see a young Weyland and an old one. - Would there not be billions of star systems that matched with the innacurately drawn cave paintings? Or did they locate the planet in another way I didn't pick up on? - One more... Vickers! Just run to the SIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Although that looked like a lot of complaining, I still enjoyed the film and look forward to the sequel(s)!

medpod was probably for mr weyland the little worms seem to come from the dirt on the teams boots. maybe picked up from outside? Originally in the script we see the robot in weylands dreams while he is in hyper sleep. he is on a yacht and is very young surrounded by fit birds but it was cut from the final movie yeah being able to match a star system from a map with the resolution of a cave painting is utterly proposterous . really annoyed me and reminded me of the betty hill star map david must have spiked the drink under weylands orders. we see him speaking to him while he is in hyper sleep just before he does it. everything david does is for the benfit of acheiving mr weylands goal of immortality.

I noticed these same inconsistencies but I attribute it to Ridley Scott filming two movies simultaneously, then surgically separating them in the editing room. There are some things that will fit together like a jigsaw puzzle in the sequel, right.

Yes and the medpod is probably for peter weyland also since his hypersleep chamber is hidden in vickers quarters. And david is a "bad robot" all the way exept for the end i guess? "im attempting to open the door" swooosch "sorry" with a bad grin. and then he steals one of the urns after shaw told him not to touch anything. He goes on his own down the pyramid to the ship, even tough all the others are dying upstairs. Also when he tells her she is pregnant and takes her cross and so on.

Well, hell, I mean, David deliberately infects people.

David was following orders from weyland to discover as much as possible in as little time as possible -especially a live engineer thats why he was doing toughs things. I bloody hope your right charles and theres another piece to this film because the things a mess heres a nice video in the mean time: Your text to link here...

Crabfart@ haha love the video. I still like prometheus, and dont feel that dissapointed like most people on this forum seems to be. But however, that video was spot on. They could have been talking about almost every movie ever made tough.

The little worms were probably just indigenous to the planet. The crew didn't know the mission for security reasons "need to know." This was the same as Dave Bowman And Frank Poole in 2001. Vickers didn't run to the side for the same reasons people stood and stared on 9/11; shock and fear. The MedPod was probably only setup for Weyland and yes, Vickers could have been a robot.
