About the London premiere and the RT01

Yesterday I was at the premiere in London. I couldn't post much live because it was difficult, with all those people around. Also I don't like mundane events like these (let's say this was my first and last time at a celebrities parade), but I am sure those of you who followed the live streaming/tweets saw and heard it all better than me. It was interesting to see the reactions of the people as the actors emerged from the cars. Above all, the highlights were: -Fassbender: high pitched screams -Theron: mostly silent, reverential stupor (and a huge amount of muttered "she's gorgeous"). The general sound was "oooooooooooh...." -Rapace: similar to Fassbender, but lower pitch -Scott: the appreciation was more than evident, but what emerged among the indistinct noise were the "OMG, is that his partner?" and following comments... -Salma Hayek: she came out of the blue, totally unrelated but man, you could almost touch the ogling, haha I missed Giger, unfortunately :( My personal highlight was Sean Harris (Fifield) emerging from the car as you would expect him, without a jacket, with a grim face, and with his shirt partially tucked in, but not in a posh/fashionable way, more like he had been dressing in the car! In the minutes he spent waiting for his moment to walk the blue carpet, he found the time to tuck it in properly. What I liked most, though, was the RT01, the eight wheeled truck. It was parked in front of the London Transport Museum (the irony!) in Covent Garden, a few minutes walk away. Unfortunately it was not possible to climb it, but man, that thing is beautiful, and is real. It is really huge and doesn't look like a movie prop or a toy, at all. Its design is fantastic and very well made. You can see it's a sci-fi thing, yet not over the top. And the sheer feeling that you were there, touching the very thing (and very working) you see in the movie was even more exciting. If I find some time I'll post some pictures

Ridley Scott will eventually tell us how the Queen was born. Right now we have the Deacon; coming soon the Mercury, the May and the Taylor.

I didnt much much like the look of that Premier either "Michael Michael! - sign my breasts!" All those autograph seekers seem pathetic, possibly would have been worth it to see the RT-01 - get pics up as soon as you can Nox!

Wow! How amazing it must have been to attend that! It would be remarkable to get to see the props first hand like that :) Does anyone know who the knock-out on Ridley Scott's arm was that day? She was a stunner! Almost as impressive as Charlize (I said almost)!
