Prometheus ideas and upcoming fan film

....mmmmh...you have a budget?....i would go for your last idea....something completely new...within the same universe!

When thinking of the creature, if there is one, you should think how it works, and make it logical and realistic. Think of advantages for killing (etc.) that its body will have, then go on to design the facial aspects and determine how scary it is. Hope this is helpful! Good Luck!

...i could come up with the concept of some scary creatures....i do most of my concepts in 3d...i just find it easier....you just play with it till it starts looking really nightmarish and it's a very flexible medium.....so let me know if ever you get this project going...i cannot promise anything....I have limited time....but I really would'nt mind getting involved!

its alright, don't worry, plus i got my crew and everyone i need is already in , I'm usually the guy that comes up with the creature design and the visual look to the film but thanks i appreciate your help, all i need is an idea for the film's plot. about the creatures function that is a very crucial part. the design i'm heading for will have lots of Giger elements to it, but of course i wont reuse the old alien again that's for sure.

What bothers me most is that I don't think there are any other alien race that can be higher than the space jockey since they created most organisms including humans if I'm not mistaken. Quite a tricky situation here. So it would be quite hard to come up with something new unless of course new "xeno" creatures. Any ideas?

Well you could perhaps point out that the engineers MUST have been created by someone or something so perhaps you could go into depth about that? or indeed the Xeno origins if they arent explained in "prometheus"...

I was actually thinking about xeno origins and it was supposed to be one of my movie ideas as to how the jockey were created and how they created the xenos . It goes like this :the jockeys worshiped an intelligent being that looks somewhat like the xeno, and that they had a terrible war with the god an his minions which could show us why so many jockeys died and arent around and that the remaining few created the xenos using samples from their gods blood but of course they toyed with the blood of something evil and that lead them to their demise (the jockey in alien)

Perhaps that the big skeleton in the chair was just one of many different species in a hierarchy of creatures dominated by this technology. The derelict it self is not just a delivery vehicle but having a deeper sinister purpose. Kind of like an ancient Pandora's Box

each of those urns contains a different species....so their is no reason to stick to the original story....each urn has it's own plot!

was about to get to the urn part of the story, was actually thinking that maybe the derelict in alien contained the very urn that carried their gods blood, and once the humans find it they of course mess around with it thus creating thier own horrific creation of the alien, also what if the jockeys purposely landed on LV-426, because they wanted to create the "perfect" organism they knew it would be dangerous so they sent the ship to a dead planet with no life , but i guess they have crossed the line too far and obviously is what got the jockey in alien killed.

The crew is composed by: Miss Takako Yutani (Yutani company CEO). Marines: Shepard, Hunter, Lawrence, Lekker, Morgan, Bernard, Jacob, Tyler, Cameron ,Logan and Jenna. Scientists: Dr Daisuke (Astronomer), Dr Arthur (paleontologist), Dr Sydney (Archeologist), and Dr Savir (Geneticist) Pilots: Jim, Kail and Connor. The crew explores the pyramid. Inside on the temple the crew is attacked by huge snakes (22 feet long) living in the swamps of Black waters of the big head room. There, one of the creatures crushed the head of one of the Marines, Hunter, with their powerful jaws. Then Lawrence opens fire with his pulse rifle against the creature, killing her; but the corrosive blood reaches his face and body and burned to death. Another snake wrapped around the body of Cameron crushing by constriction. After killing him is burned with a flamethrower by Commander Shepard. The creature moves with great speed and agility on the walls and ceilings and attacks by ambush, killing 3 members (Abie, Bernard, and Daisuke). when he finally reveals himself kill Arthur and Morgan with its second mouth. Finally, the monster is destroyed, but the squadron of the mission has suffered heavy losses. Within the Ethon, in the laboratory, the Dr Savir (scientific officer) studies the strange black substance injected into laboratory animals and he discover that not only serves to create a biological weapon, also has other qualities such as reviving corpses. The crew also collected what looks like a kind of solidified green resin, this resin in the form of green crystals preserved in very good condition DNA samples from some kind of creature. The samples dating back millions of years old. Through it all she informs the rest of the fleet, which is to come, about the mansaje of Dr. Shaw, but before leaving the orbit of the moon a huge Engineer mothership (like a flying saucer) flying over the pyramids of LV-223... The walls take horrible humanoid forms when David and Shaw crossed by the claustrophobic and dark hallway. Some of the humanoid figures are mated sexually to give rise to new and more exotic life forms. Definitely is not a machine, is some kind of complex and superior life form. Shaw tries to communicate with the entity to get his precious answers, then David helping her, and begins to transmit the messages in the language of the Engineers to communicate with the God. There, the creature displays enormous tentacles and inserted into the skin of Shaw. Shaw's body begins to mutate into a big biomechanical woman. The Engineers rebelled against his master and creator. They did not want to be simple terraforming tools and created a terrible biological weapon to fight against this Gods. The Engineers found the DNA samples of an extinct race of monsters in Crystals of green resin. Then the armed military of the engineers race design their biomechanical space suits based on the appearance of the ancient monsters. The pilot sent a signal to his brother explaining what happened before he died and the military scientists of LV-223 began to perfect his creation. In the process many Engineers died but one survived to complete the mission. The star maps was a trap because Sometimes to create, one must first destroy. At that moment, David discovers another kind of Urn. Inside he can see a black substance bubbling similar to that contained in other Urns. This masterpiece of the Genetics engineering is the true fire of the gods. A technology that undoubtedly would make to the humans equal to the Gods. But before David takes the following action, the terrifying figure of the now transformed Shaw appears behind him to destroy it. Now a dark and frightening battle will occur in LV-223...

those are great ideas you have there,who knows maybe Ridleys story will have some connection to it. The current film i am working on will be connected to prometheus but will not take place directly after the events of Prometheus, we now know Ridley Scott is working on that so I'll leave it at that. My story will have different characters and a somewhat different storyline and will not take place in either LV-223 or LV-426. About the mystery of the jockey on LV-426 I would like that to remain a mystery and thus i wont explore that part. My movie will have engineers, weird alien creatures and the juggernaut ship, the film will most likely be entitled as "Olympus" since Obviously ridley scotts movie is most likely going to be named Paradise.

Ok i've been thinking about ideas for a while and i decided it would be best to make an actual fan made prequel to ALIEN. As much as i love Prometheus and would love to continue on from there on i thought my ideas and concepts would sort of be limited to Ridleys portrayal of the engineer and his story plus we have a sequel coming out they'll hopefully explain everything that needs explaining leaving about nothing much for me to work with unfortunately. Scott didn't make an actual direct alien prequel so i guess here is my chance, the space jockeys portrayal will differ much from Prometheus and will lean a lot more to what we thought it was in alien, creatures will be original as well as things we are familiar with. and i might have actual "Proto" Xenos and not the deacon of course. Whether or not it'll take place on LV-426 is yet to be decided. this is just an idea however could change my mind later.

Question: if Space Jockey really was 'dead for long enough to fossilize', how can the [i]warning signal[/i] have been picked up, or the eggs have survived? Did the eggs TRANSFORM on arrival of the first human aka John Hurt? Did the laser 'scan' him to understand his genetic make-up, like the murals in Prometheus's ampule room? How are you doing [b]your[/b] Space Jockey tribute aka real Alien-prequel? Live action? Rendered footage? Clips from films/comics to tell [b]your[/b] story?

@FreePlanet i'm thinking of making the film 50 years prior to alien, personally the idea of it being a suit is nice which is what i'll use, however inside they will look elephantine. this is for me a good reason for it to look "fossilized" and melded into the chair rather than actually being fossilized , and so the suit looks like its deteriorating by that time. However this COULD change, i'll just have to see where how the script goes. and yes i'll make it live action.

oh my god, a suit? well, whatever ... each to their own, I guess ... personally, I'd have the SPACE JOCKEY as the adult i.e. MATED form of 'two' alien species, one the Oliphant/Ganesha elephant thingy and the other, I dunno, some other sub-aquatic squid/turret or something that locks onto it in a sexual frenzy and WHEN THE JUGGERNAUT GROWS AROUND THEM with eggs in its belly, the thing takes off out of the water to go fertilise 'some other place'... Yes, I did just suggest the Ganesha/Oliphant creature was some sorta sub-aquatic mammal of some sort, kinda manateelike(?) Nice, huh? LOL.

this is just an idea still, but then again i could just use the "Alien" design as its real appearance, i would like to think it got impregnated by a real face hugger. but all goes well i hope.

all in all it would preferably be best if that was left a mystery as to who he was and what he was doing there, there is a 50 50 chance that i might go that direction or to make an actual prequel , i know its going to be hard because i need to try hard not to mess it up, i was thinking of making an entirely new story in a new universe, but its "alien" themed like some of the designs and creatures that or to go on an entirety different story within the alien universe but making sure that our fellow jockeys are in fact elephants rather than "engineers". OR just make a spin off to Prometheus but that all goes down to the script of course.

King, 'impregnated by a facehugger' still doesn't tell us WHO the Original Space Jockey is -- this is the same trap Ridley Scott fell into when LLL or Lindelof's Legal Loophole declined to tell us who the [b]Original Space Jockey[/b] is. We got the back-engineered response, not the actual guff; the makers of the tech.

Shambhala I enjoyed your outline and visuals in your storyline. I like how the Shaw/David Juggernaut gets caught up with the other past vessels..that is a great visual, and one I would like to see presented. I didn't see any follow-up to your original post. Don't let your presentation go to waste.
