Anyone with some command over kanji can explain if it's meant to be humor or just part of anime art?

This is all just a bunch of (kind of) humorous labels.
Maybe if I saw the Godzilla one, I'd find this funny. Maybe not.

I haven't had much to say till now but I've been following this site since I first heard about Prometheus!
I know Japanese, so I can answer your question. This is humor. For instance, the label pointing to the back of the Xeno's head says "Head ass", the label pointing to the tubes on its back says "back dick", and the label pointing to the area where its genitals would be (if it definitely had genitals) says "mister jingle". Finally, the label pointing to its thigh says "chicken drumstick".
I think it's safe to say it's intended to be funny. Whether or not you find it funny is another matter...
