It seems to be the same image, one with post production effects, the other without.
The mercenaries seem to be in the very same position, and I guess they are not statues, so that the B1door opens and people come out of it without them changing position.
The only difference I found is that the background seems to be slightly shifted to one side between the two pictures (as if one picture is taken with the left lens, and the other with the right lens of the 3D camera).
Ridley Scott will eventually tell us how the Queen was born.
Right now we have the Deacon; coming soon the Mercury, the May and the Taylor.

MemberOvomorphMay-12-2012 4:08 AMIt is not the first time we see something changed between trailers, but all the other changes were just aesthetic (addition, enhancement of a background, CGI adjustments of the space croissant, etc.) or the addition of the SJ holograms, while this time we see real characters (as in "not holograms") being removed (or added).
A bit like this

MemberOvomorphMay-11-2012 9:42 PMIt can be simple editing or changes (or as simple as that is hidden inside one of the vehicles for their own safety and that technically there is a threat in the hangar)
But anyway is not the first time :

MemberOvomorphMay-11-2012 10:54 PMYes, it is plausible that it is the same planet but otherwise looks bigger than the first. You can see that there are 3 moons and LV-426 appears to be the smallest of all.
And what about the terraforming?
Will we see in this movie some kind of event that drastically change the landscape?
Or this will be reserved for a sequel ... but as I understand will have a sequel in parallel to the movie Alien.
27 Days and we will have some answers ... GOD! the wait is killing me...

has me convinced it is indeed the planet they land on in Alien
This was the best I could find, I actually wanted the scene where they are on the planet walking to the ship, but I'm sure you'll all know what I'm talking about :-P

MemberOvomorphMay-12-2012 5:44 AMBut then,, is there likelihood, even Rated-R, after the cinema, in DVDs & Blu-Rays to be Another one, Full Director's Cut of "P";
On Disks, at least: interviews, comments, bonus gallery.. deleted scenes?
;P.S.:
(sorry for hard-core Aliens fans but : ) 4 Example:
in trailers of "Predators", the character of Brody - Royce, was taken at gunpoint by 15 Yautja's 3-dotted red foresights;
In the Movie, it was only 1 Predator!

MemberDeaconMay-11-2012 5:56 PMVery Good find....
Yes its odd, and there are a few more knocking around where something seems to change from one image to the other.
Inc the Shaw scene when she is walking alonge the corridoors a bit groggy, after the C-Section.... In one image she apears to have a scar thats open, in the other no scar and staples.

There are many cases of this here and there.
I think it's just examples of thing that are and are not getting through in the trailer production/editing process.
The light on Weyland does look a bit OFF too when compared to the other two. Maybe.
I don't think the general public is supposed to know that Weyland is on the planet. That's clearly a big plot point.

MemberOvomorphMay-14-2012 11:29 AMThere's even a reverse scene of Nox's 2nd image ... they're shooting the other direction lol ... I think that is in one of the later trailers ... ;) ... it's all POST stuff ...
I reckon we won't see half of what we've seen in trailers in the movie to be honest ...
