MemberOvomorphApr-29-2012 8:28 PMThe new trailer showing the black oil flowing on the floor of the derelict is curiously similiar to the alien black oil in the X-Files mythology. As I recall the X-Files oil entered a human via the mouth or eyes and took over the body basically making the human a host for the alien.
In the Prometheus trailer FiField looks like he is the host for the Cobra Xeno.
Similar mythology?

This movie is going to be so awesome. I really don't think anyone will enjoy it more than the old-timers. ;-)

meaning, the liquid is self evolving,
it does remind me a bit of the great X-Files: Fight The Future
