The power source emanating from Vickers quarters has something to do with the amount of energy and cost to keep him the old guy in the wheel chair alive, maybe through one of his patents.

Dont you people READ!!! GOD!!! Vickers is Weylands personal sex bot, thats why when shes out of stasis she has to do push ups to get her vagino-9000 (Trademark of weyland industries) back in order so she can bring him back to life and ride him silly till the jockies come home

Yes such a shame most of us wont be around or at a fit age come 2050 ish.
I am sure David 8 + www.realdoll.com would make the perfect Vickers assistant lol...
Why does her room use too much power, it could hint and the way she looks that she is a Andriod and its Weyland in that room.
But it could all be a read herring as the other posibiliy for the old guy is Holloway.
