the coming
MemberOvomorphApr-18-2012 3:46 PMyeah this viral has given me confidence in the movie again...it is rich with detail and well thought out
I think the hair begins to grow once activated...he does admit though, that he feels no emotion, he only pretends
kind of creepy no?

AdminPraetorianApr-18-2012 3:45 PM@draekus; OMG you are right! It does look slicked back! I read he customizes his own look though, I'll have to find the article I read that in.

AdminPraetorianApr-18-2012 3:30 PMYes, he is bald. He is self-customizable, he changes his hair and mannerisms to each environment he is "born" into aparantly.

MemberOvomorphApr-18-2012 3:33 PMActually Upon closer inspection, I think it may just be slicked back.

MemberOvomorphApr-18-2012 3:33 PMAwesome stuff, it seems that things like hair and even finger nails grow like a normal person as it's clearly shown in the video, when David it's unpacked you can see he's bald. Wayland Industries has gone to great lengths to completely duplicate the human anatomy as we can see that Ridley Scot pays meticulous attention to details like these. I was sold on this movie from day one as I'm a life long Alien fan but for what we have watched of David they could make a movie just about him and I'm sure that I won't be the only one to watch it in theaters.

MemberOvomorphApr-18-2012 3:26 PMIs the David in the Box bald? Is that a customizable option or does the hair begin to grow once he's "de-boxed"?

Cool done... though i normally "hate" everything that has to do with advertisement and marketing (as these "professions" just have one goal - to "LIE" to sell something).
But these viral marketing ideas according to prometheus are funny and creative - done with so much passion and LOVE...
The opening-the-David8-box-video is so "simple", but so "cool".
Hehe. You buy a robot like you would buy a TV or a Computer, unpack it - and the white fluid starts to RUN and bringz that "thing" to LIVE.
Cool...

MemberOvomorphApr-18-2012 2:40 PMThat's how Davids are delivered. In a crate.
When they open it you can also see the white fluid starts flowing through the tubing, suggesting that he's just being activated.
Styrofoam and plastic bags could be useless, but the message is that David is a mass product, millions are being produced/sold.
Ridley Scott will eventually tell us how the Queen was born.
Right now we have the Deacon; coming soon the Mercury, the May and the Taylor.

MemberOvomorphApr-18-2012 2:51 PMAnd they put Marshmallows on his face for when he's hungry after being born!

MemberOvomorphApr-18-2012 3:00 PMThat's the best explanation to date!

Question: "What is the purpose of the bag and foam?"
Answer: "Packaging".

AdminPraetorianApr-18-2012 3:09 PMOh! did you guys noticed the orange/yellow wire in David's mouth when he moves around in his packaging in the second Viral video?? I wonder what it is for.
