I am instinctively certain and have no shadow of doubt in my mind whatsoever, that you are quite terribly and terrifyingly wrong in every single thing. I don't believe I need to see your list of Terrible Wrongness to know that, so you may choose to save your time - or put it to use for greater reward.

#1- If the SJ suite opens up and anything resembling a human being or android comes out of it, anything less than a terrifying hideous monster like no human being could ever conceive or look like...I am walking out !!! #2- If the ship on LV-426 turns out to be any ship other than the Derelict from Alien, I am walking out and giving up on Ridley Scott. #3-If the creature which we clearly see infecting crew members is not related in some small way at the least to the XENOMORPH in Alien I am going to commit suicide. Disclaimer: The truth is I believe completely in Ridley Scott and am so excited that whatever he decided to do I will be fine with...My answer is Who cares, what does it matter, whatever he does will be Perfect I am sure!!! and I love the man so much as I do Giger that I will accept whatever they did as GOLD !!! Opinions as we all know are like a-holes...we all have one...and they mean shit.

Okay, I've now added in all my thoughts to my original post...and will be interested to see how many I got right or wrong come the time. I promise not to 'edit' my points in any way, lol. And as I'm from the U.K. I'll get to see the movie a few days before many of you...but I also promise to not give any 'spoilers' away come the time.

@ db - glad you liked the intent, even if you don't seem to have come to any strong conclusions of your own. Not even one?... I remember quite a few around here DID though...so I thought they might like to list the particular ones they believed/or wished for, in one place for future reference.

I reckon we're from two different universes.

I'll have to make my own thread to fit all the things I'll be right about, hehe The different planet thing has already been proven. Then there is also: Xenomorph already exists, different ship, Alien secreted resin from previous films is important, two different alien races in violent conflict, Shaw performs surgery on herself, a terrible creature we haven't seen yet, blue guy is practical not "evil," humans are the threat that needs to be stopped, Janek's O face is in response to some alien menace or violence and not from crashing into ship. Sooo...we'll see.

I just want to see something I haven't seen before. Sic-fi is so played out nowadays it's tough to get something based in original thought into a film. If anyone can deliver though, Ridley Scott can.

I've taken note of a couple of little speculations of your own that you've also thrown in there. But I'd certainly like to hear your other opinions here too, as unless you've been privy to the actual production details, then your additional thoughts are just further speculation like everyone else's here, inclulding mine. Go on, stick 'em up for analysis... @ [b]Spartacus -[/b] I cetainly lol'd at your 1st post on the previous page Sparty, and I just hope we all end up loving whatever storyline Ridley ends up giving us...even if it's not the actual one we may have preferred... By the way, I'm glad that you especially like the 6th speculation in my list...and I've actually elaborated on it now in my original post, if you care to have a look. ...and I've also expanded my 7th speculation now too...but as I don't recall it ever been suggested yet, I'm going to start a whole new thread to discuss the possibility...

The waterfall/saucer is in the opening sequence of the film. The big blue guys are actually ok, not bad guys. And Vickers is the second skin job. Oh, pardon me, artificial person . . .

I wonder what that "Vickers shedding her skin" is all about?..... EDIT: @Duke - I think she is without doubt an android or something else under that "suit".

I don't know what's right, and I certainly don't want to be right with any of my speculations, I want to be surprised. IN fact, I need to ban myself from this site, it's addicting! And I think we're all going to ruin our own movie experience (assuming we're right; I hope NONE of us are). One thing I do know is that the squid in the arm scene is NOT going to be the money-making shot (as chest burster was). Why? BECAUSE IT WOULDN'T BE FAIR. RS WOULDN'T DO THAT! Save the best for the film :) Also, I think that Weyland is on board and that the guy with the black goo in the beginning of the trailer is him...and the dead SJ in the chair is him. Maybe why they merged with Yutani, they needed someone else to take the helm (not sure if this was discussed already, but that's just my thought...again, I'm probably wrong). F*&k I hope we are all wrong.
